that is for limited 1k people and aeon staff. when go public with hundred thousand wont give this rate. but i expect little higher than gxbank like 3.1%. no point go higher as majority has burned out cash. even rize end on june. chasing games will always a total lost. fd rate is getting lower.

i did that last years but lock saving and fd. never mind you can try. after a years, i have move out and closed acc.

Registration to open savings account only also take so long. I registered for alliance savings, took few mins only from register to transfer money into account.

some profiles just need more checking and it's specific to each bank. all banks the same. my gx took few days.

The t&c for the 3.88% campaign is a bit sus. Let's say you deposit 100,00 but on 1 Jul, aeon's target of 1b is hit (which aeon says in the t&c that they have no obligation to inform you). Does your 100k still get the 3.88% till end of campaign or does the 3.88% stops on 30 jun, and revert back to whatever normal rate on 1 Jul?

I suspect it could be the latter since your 100k is not locked and the bank will need to have separate calculation if you decide to withdraw partial amounts halfway.

bcareful using debit card for online and purchases.
I just kena last week unauthorized card use on my MBB debit card, straight deduct amount. Due to is debit can't really get back the amount unless credit card can file for dispute.

Don't keep a lot of money in the main account say keep only min. RM20. Before making payments and if balance not enough, only then withdraw from saving pots. if dc compromised, won't feel hurt a lot.

Aeon bank facing issue can't transfer money out. CS like stupid giving robotic answers. WTF man I can't access my funds.
