But the 5G bands matters right?
Say for uMobile having more 5G bands over Yes5G, and if my area's certain 5G band happen to be lesser etc, and not supporting the limited Yes5G ones i will lose out right?
nope...all 5G band only goes all to DNB as infra management(for this day, we still waiting second DNB as per minister said).... it is not like 4G where umobile got 10mhz, maxis got 15mhz, digi got 5mhz etc.... the whopping more 100mhz(if not mistaken) goes to DNB and telcos just renting 5G with DNB... of course got different treatment due to which company willing to pay more for extra premium....
that is why c+d control user based on speed for each plan while others dont have....
Firmware get from the seller. A good seller will sharw with u the bin file
Yea am aware.. but what I meant is... If my seller doesn't provide me with the necessary new firmware etc.. Can I go with another seller's firmware if I can get my hands on it?
Will it matter using different sellers firmware on a GTENIQ02X55?

Hmm… a bit susah. But u can try. Its about after sales service given by seller. Some seller hit and run and famous with lousy service.
How does the free router given by Umobile compared to those in the market?
It's ZTE.. So should be pretty decent.. Only main thing I really dislike about it is it being carrier locked to only UMOBILE... In future you can't re-use that Router Modem with another telco..
Just wondering if the Zyxel nr5103e 3 brand is still worthwhile to purchase? A friend is selling for 500 for a used one.
All Mediatek T750 based 5G modems performs best with DNB's NSA 5G network.
Only drawback is this modem is non modded to work with mobile plans except for Home Broadband 5G data only plans and was mistakenly sold undervalued. You can't buy it anymore because it was quickly taken down once the sellers knew its true value.
Those Brits are putting it up on sale for £229.99 on Amazon UK. Refurbished unit summore.
The ZLT28 doesn't have external antenna ports and the Yeacomm costs almost RM1k.
There's also the new Tenda 5G03 which should be cheaper.
OK, sounded like the seller was trying to avoid admitting that the mifi still connects to 4G network by "playing with words".
In this case, for example, if I have a sim plan that offer unlimited 5G and 50GB FUP for 4G/LTE, connecting to this "B28" will use up my 4G allocation?

yup, since b28 only for 4G. your 50GB FUP 4G/LTE will be used up in no time.
I've seen that flymodem cheap modem from china before in shopee. "It's too good to be true" for a 5G MiFi with that price of ~RM300.

Yeah now price already dropped to 150 on sh***e. If it still connects to only 4G, then I already have my own 4G USB mifi for the past few years. Luckily didn't order this one.
