Oh sorry I just checked it was an iPhone 12 hahaha my bad!

but the ZTE mc888s will be carrier locked to umobile only right? Didn't want to tie down 24months with umobile just incase the signal gets bad somehow, I can switch other carriers / plans..

5G signal either one bad or one good, apply to others as infra under DNB... this the goodness of SWN....not like 4G where one telco good, one telco bad, one telco initially good suddenly become not good after merger....

But the 5G bands matters right?

Say for uMobile having more 5G bands over Yes5G, and if my area's certain 5G band happen to be lesser etc, and not supporting the limited Yes5G ones i will lose out right?

nope...all 5G band only goes all to DNB as infra management(for this day, we still waiting second DNB as per minister said).... it is not like 4G where umobile got 10mhz, maxis got 15mhz, digi got 5mhz etc.... the whopping more 100mhz(if not mistaken) goes to DNB and telcos just renting 5G with DNB... of course got different treatment due to which company willing to pay more for extra premium....

that is why c+d control user based on speed for each plan while others dont have....
