tozed = ZLT

Tozed X100M Pro for sure not using mediatek or qualcomm 5g modem, can forget about it.

FCC Teardown (at https://fccid.io/2A5LO-TOZEDZLTX100/Interna...Photos-7102381)

Shows Unisoc platform

so... not a great choice

CelcomDigi used to give ZTE router right? why did they downgrade so hard? I guess to compete on price with UMobile and Yes?

*Disclaimer, the link is for "ZLT X100 PRO, can't find X100 PRO on their website and can't find X100M PRO on FCC"
I am making an assumption it's the same thing, just that this "M" variant doesn't have the TEL jack

according to the CD website, they still giving out TP-Link NX510v, but need to pay more 1-time fee rm99.

umobile now giving out Huawei Brovi H153-381 with no extra cost, so that will be an attractive selling point.

for yes, i don't recommend at all. if want cheap better use digi prepaid + their one-time pass.

hi guy, i am using umobile prepaid and celcom postpaid on my phone but my place always getting not signal and sometime not even able to load any data. Fiber is not an option and hence, i plan to get a 5g router, any model recommended with good value?
I do heard that some telco might ban the sim if not using via phone, do we know which telco already implement it? Or i must get a home brandband plan? Any plan to recommend too? Thanks.

Uhm, sounds like your area is a signal dead zone. Are you sure you want to use 5G Internet?

All the telco use the same 5G network.

Since you mention only outdoor signal is good

It's either you put 5G router outdoor or put 5G router indoor and use an outdoor antenna

AW1000 Modem.

Ask that Laksamana Melayu shop.
Provide your location then he can tell whether it's worth to get or not.
He used YES 5G check for 5G coverage.

Can use 5G DNB website to check as 5G infra is the same for all telcos.
My condo got 5G some part have, some part don't have.
Say lock 5G band better if I wanted to buy.

Seller will help to setup before ship.
I plan to get in the future for research purpose.

Or use parabolic antenna if you staying at LANDED.

i tried with Celcom but thats not a full fledged postpaid, more like a backup. The issue with X50-5G is the firmware. Not stable and Tplink engineers are struggling to push a new update. The last update they released cause quite a problem and forced most user to reroll back to previous firmware.

Everything seems good until you have issues with the app to configure and firmware problems that caused connectivity issue.

Actually just higher CPU usage... not much difference. I did downgrade though, scare later cannot downgrade. Staying with 1.15 just in case.

FYI, I already blacklist Celcom. I terminated my Celcom and use Umobile instead. Not sure about other area... but for my area, Celcom seem to throttle 5G speed whereas UM is a stable 400-500Mbps with X50 5G.

I used it with Plex, the high cpu usage really slowing down the stream and sometimes my network wont go higher than 100mbps. Wifi also seems unstable, my Ip13 keeps disconnecting.
