QUOTE(kahhow1102 @ Jan 20 2024, 07:07 PM) Which 5G MODEM are guys using? Too many 5G modems are too difficult to choose Generally, the branded ones like TP-Link Deco X50 5G or NX510v are good choices The cheap Zyxel imported UK EE/3 ones are cheap, but quality varies, some may have issues connecting to 5g The no name Chinese specials, their performance may be lower

QUOTE(xswatch @ Aug 5 2024, 08:52 PM) remote monitoring only possible if you have the correct information on hand. You will need the public IP address, as well as the port number, to be able to log into your router network from a distance. long story short for 5g router I think can't be access remotely. another alternative I can think of is u can connect ur one pc to the router at office. small pc with low power consumption like Intel nuc is better bec even if u swith on 24/7 also the electricity usage very minimal,no need to attach monitor screen. install a remote software like logmein (may incur additional subscription cost). then using ur phone while you're away, remote to ur pc office (use logmein apps for phone), so from there u can access to the 5g router info/usage. something like a raspberry pi with a software defined network solution like Tailscale should be able to do what you want just connect to the tailscale network and you can access the router as if you were connected to the network or... if you get one of those openwrt based ones, there should also be an openwrt tailscale package to save on needing other devices

QUOTE(Coby Gan @ Oct 19 2024, 03:27 PM) Has anyone tried this new 5G modem D-Link DWR-X2000? Don't think so but I believe it has a Unisoc chipset inside, so the performance isn't great

QUOTE(BOTAK_WAI @ Apr 16 2025, 11:05 AM) tozed = ZLT Tozed X100M Pro for sure not using mediatek or qualcomm 5g modem, can forget about it. FCC Teardown (at https://fccid.io/2A5LO-TOZEDZLTX100/Interna...Photos-7102381)Shows Unisoc platform so... not a great choice CelcomDigi used to give ZTE router right? why did they downgrade so hard? I guess to compete on price with UMobile and Yes? *Disclaimer, the link is for "ZLT X100 PRO, can't find X100 PRO on their website and can't find X100M PRO on FCC" I am making an assumption it's the same thing, just that this "M" variant doesn't have the TEL jack
