yeah so far everything's back to normal. I was using open dns so I was shocked when I suddenly got hit with a TM's "this website is blocked"

Hi sifus here. I have the 1GBps Unifi plan but am currently using the Fiberhome HG6142A GPON ONU. TM technician did give me the Black ONU with 2.5G ONU by Dlink but did not setup for me. I tried setting up by setting it in GPON Router mode and inserted my ppoe details, ploam password and also voip password from the Fiberhome ONU but still no Internet. Can someone help me to see where I am wrong? Thank you.

Just wondering, if I buy the skyworth black that support 2.5G from shopee, will I be able to clone my skyworth white setting into this and will get full 1Gbps on my router?

Just reset and put in the right PLOAM password from existing unit.

BUT, turn off TR-069 or whatever remote management thing if you can find them just in case TM push the wrong profile to you in future cause the MAC address not tied to your account.

Using single ONU+Router, TM can still manage your profile even if you turn off TR-069. It can detect the mac address of the ONU.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Skyworth 630, set to bridge mode, and plug in the fiber only. (No connect to router)
should the PON indicator be Flashing or On?

Flashing - The ONT is registering to the OLT
On - The ONT has already registered to OLT

The best way to check is login to the device and check the PON operational status. "O5" means everything is good.
LED cannot possibly represent all status code and they are very manufacturer specific. Example: ZTE will show solid green as long as it's O2 or above. Obviously green doesn't means things work in this case.

I recently just got offer from RM129 500mbps SWU 3.0 , to SWU 5.0 offer -  RM159 1Gbps +6month no bill+6month disney  (average RM 119.25 )

of course the new offer is not perpetual, it is only 24months, after that will fall back to 500mbps, but who cares, always swu7,8,9,1xxx

you are wrong their main goal is to increase your price so next time you have to pay RM159. It's not saving you end up spending more. Always take the lowest offer .
