TM technician did give me the Black ONU with 2.5G ONU by Dlink but did not setup for me. I tried setting up by setting it in GPON Router mode and inserted my ppoe details, ploam password and also voip password from the Fiberhome ONU but still no Internet. Can someone help me to see where I am wrong? Thank you. you noting is wrong DLINK BLACK GPON need to activate ONT INFRA so you need ask technical to come and do setup then he will use phone or tablet to do activate ONT infra then you can reset factory and you can do yourself ploam and voip then will be connected no need activate ONT INFRA without do tm technical you can't do yourself due DLINK MAC ADDRESS NEED ACTIVATE ONT This post has been edited by tng55: Mar 23 2025, 10:45 PM

Just reset and put in the right PLOAM password from existing unit. It should work. BUT, turn off TR-069 or whatever remote management thing if you can find them just in case TM push the wrong profile to you in future cause the MAC address not tied to your account.

Using single ONU+Router, TM can still manage your profile even if you turn off TR-069. It can detect the mac address of the ONU. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi Guys, just want to confirm: Skyworth 630, set to bridge mode, and plug in the fiber only. (No connect to router) should the PON indicator be Flashing or On?
Flashing - The ONT is registering to the OLT On - The ONT has already registered to OLT
The answer I got is 'On', but I want to double confirm. Thx!

The best way to check is login to the device and check the PON operational status. "O5" means everything is good. LED cannot possibly represent all status code and they are very manufacturer specific. Example: ZTE will show solid green as long as it's O2 or above. Obviously green doesn't means things work in this case.

You have to stay with Unifi for first 2 yrs without any good offer, then you will get non-stop swu offer ... I recently just got offer from RM129 500mbps SWU 3.0 , to SWU 5.0 offer - RM159 1Gbps +6month no bill+6month disney (average RM 119.25 ) of course the new offer is not perpetual, it is only 24months, after that will fall back to 500mbps, but who cares, always swu7,8,9,1xxx This post has been edited by mhwee: Mar 27 2025, 10:03 AM

It's not saving you end up spending more. Always take the lowest offer .

Always take the lowest offer . The main goal of SWU is to retain customer. That is the reason they never promote SWU openly. For me, I was payint around RM200++ before, for 800Mbps + UnifiTV and I couldn't get rid of UnifiTV before I applied for SWU. Now, I'm paying RM159 before tax for 1GBps (and not perpertual, will go back to 500Mbps after 2 year). Oh forgotten .. yeah with 6 months waivers .. so much less This post has been edited by wiraone: Mar 28 2025, 07:58 AM

QUOTE(YoungMan @ Mar 18 2025, 07:53 PM) Keep that offer, currently it is the best of all SWU plan already. I m on the same plan . Expecting rm99 for 500Mbps. My SWU expire on Sept 2025. Already submit transfer request from Maxis to test water

Always take the lowest offer . There is a 6 month waiver for this new RM159, so you get average RM119.25 per month for this 24 months contract. On the other hand, I needed to pay RM129 before plan change. I spend less and get higher speed at 1Gbps. And yeah. I am not wrong. This post has been edited by mhwee: Mar 27 2025, 11:25 PM

Got my black Skyworth Combo now, setup easily. It hasn't been setup before (or probably the seller has hard reset it). Set to bridge mode, turned off the TR-069 configuration, copy the GPON password and VOIP and everything else as is. Works great. Can see the ONR to my router is now connected at 2.5GB speed.
