Just want to share. Went to Unifi store at IOI City Mall on Tuesday. Asked for swu promo. Was on 800mbps previously with std20 for RM199 before tax.

Picked 500mbps with free upgrade to 1gbps, std20, 6 months disney hotstar and 6 months bill waiver for RM159 before tax. Contract 2 years. Thereafter speed supposed to go back to 500 mbps.

This morning package updated to 500mbps staywithunifi 5.0

TM routing problem again. I get constant ping of 150ms for any websites with Cloudflare CDN...

so total is 126.14*18 around rm2270.52 for 2 years contract with 6 months free, am i correct?

mine was 500mbps at 129 ...recontracted for 99 at 300mbps (free upgrade from 100mbps) for 2 years, free 6 months disney+ and free 6 months ....Net RM 75 for 300mbps for 2 years (apparently, will revert to 100mbps after 2 years - no problem, choose another swu again ......more than enough for my use

when would they provide the free upgrade? Would they change your modem/router? to serve the 1Gbps?

It is straight at 1Gbps speed once the request is processed. Also got the sms for the free 6 months disney yesterday.

I checked yesterday can get above 900mbps but can't reach 1Gbps

They won't change modem/router unless existing ones cannot support the speed as this swu doesn't come with new modem/router. But I supposed if I cannot get 1Gbps can complain and let them change since I'm already recontracted for 2 years.

they provide change of ONU ? go request for it since your contract is renewed 24month.
then u can get the full speed 1gbps, or else it will only stuck at 940mbps +/-

Yes. Apparently swu 5 started Jan 2025.

only the black dlink or black skyworth support 2.5g connection
so basically other than this it isnt supported
