Yes I did set everything for IPv6 too, all showing encrypted DNS. but still fail dns test.

I even login into to the ONU/ONT, and set manually all the DNS inside to google dns..still fails. i give up really.

is ok. i don't want to set up another device and have it to power on. I'm waiting for Tp Link to release DoH or DoT function for the X50, should be this year or next year, until then, will have to use this new dns as a workaround.

Ok..just saying a setup a VM is pretty fast as the Linux package has everything inside and i think you can get AdGuard home up in 10 minutes. Just use some of your existing computer resources to test it out only.

TBH i would advise you don't hope too much hope on TP Link. Even my crappy ASUS AC68U also has DoT function build in. your Deco X50 is way modern and newer than my crappy AC68U.
