I just tried to buy on steam using gxcard but failed
So contacted CS, they keep argue to enable overseas purchases on app and i keep saying there is no such option, only online purchase option.

I said u need to enable on system cos that what i did with maybank before to allow overseas purchase.

So nothing in the end, the cs push the blame on me and steam. Steam purchase already problem, what more on others overseas platforms

Ikr.. don't even know how to proof I'm physically in Malaysia and bank is also in Malaysia but somehow the card is issued from south Korea 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nothing to do with card issued from South Korea 🤦‍♀️ it is MasterCard assigned the numbers which they can recycle and they haven’t changed the details yet as they are still issuing it to GX so it will take a while to change the reassigning region

is that the reason why i cannot use gx card to pay for patreon (tried n failed) and cant pay in my iphone (insert credit card for subscription)?

If this is the case then the card also cannot be used in ps store as it's also region limited. GX must be notified about this serious issue.

I doubt GXbank or Steam can help you. Since GX Card still new, the IIN database (managed by American Bankers Association) probably haven't updated yet. IIRC when Wise card was released, the country listed as UK. Same case for the current GXbank.

Darn, 12 ringgit for the physical card.
