it (dvb-t tuner) won't work with astro. i think u need dvb-s (satelite)...(correct me if i'm wrong )

from my home place, i use dvb-t @pc which can receive the signal of digital channels from singapura like HD5(1080i, h264) ...TVMobile...Digital8 & Digital5

i heard RTM will go for digital broadcasting but i'm not really sure.....

All the subs are working well .ass .sub .srt :-) any other extensions?

rtm did HD broadcasting of olympics before, now shud be running on SD digital broadcasting trial

My issue solved when i upgraded the latest firmware 1.3.74

I got one file sex and the city avi xvid cd1 when play no sound lah no idea why suspect the codecs problem will post in dvico forum

Sometime dl file are corrupted. Normally I will try dl again from another source.

Yah, seems to be some kind of bug when you have an mp3 audiotrack on the avi file (as listed by the dvico itself) that won't sound. Or the sound will be out of sync. However, the file will play perfectly fine on my PC!

Only solution for me was to recode the file (in my case to divx)...

Dvico 6500 review..

After using or selling dvico 4000,4100 and 5100 (also sarotech 570, hdx1000).. dvico has finally outdone themselves with dvico 6500/7000. (didn’t dare buy them at the beginning because of the overheating problems)

From the ease of installation to the beautiful picture quality that comes out from this wonderful machine, dvico has created one of the best media player tank out there.. (using firmware 1.3.74f)

Dvico newly improved menu system so much faster and nicer to look at. Scrolling from one file to another or chosing a folder is so fast its blinding…

Did I say the picture quality is outstanding. Well when running v for vendetta 1080p file .. my jaws drop when pure blackness came out during the opening sequances. Most of the files that I have run has richer colors and superb contrast… Bravo!!! Dvico!!!!

Most files I have run , played without a hitch. Subtitles on mkv files were simple and easy to select. On normal avi files most format subtitles were playable.

One problem I did find were mkv files formatted with vc-1 format (ie iron man 1080p vc-1).. there were slight delay in picture and sound. To solve this problem I find that if u start the file running , quickly press the goto button and click a few seconds ahead… everything be ok after that.

I haven’t played with a external hard drive yet or with network or ftp function..

What others thing i like :
delete button on the remote (a specialty with all dvicos)
Nice led screen in front of the machine (displays times,minutes, and file being played
able to play dts-hd without amp..

does it play M2TS or BD ISO files (with HD audio output via HDMI bitstream) ?

yes possible to HD Audio(TrueHD, DTS HD MA) Pass-through through HDMI support.

i think bd iso files is not possible yet ...

Do you have BD ISO files? Would like to try. DVD ISO, no problem.

I have played m2ts files before, no problem.

BD iso? Wouldn't that be 30-40GB? Better to rip to 10-15GB mkv, almost same picture quality... but no, haven't tried, don't have BD iso.

sorry, I meant BDrips m2ts files (not camcorder m2ts)

ripping to HDD in the form of BD iso, from a dual layer bluray disc only takes 1+hour.. with all data intact lagi best
