1.5k for the 4100 nia
1.7k for the 5100

both are identical except for the outlook, the rest are the same
but dvb tuner for 4100 cheaper biggrin.gif

so far so good, only a few files got problem, no audio or stuck
tested a few 720p mkv files yesterday, all played fine with dolby digital except for one file gone in 60 seconds

lots of ppl buying flat panels are for showing nia, not a very high percentage of buyers tat fully utilise its resolution, i know many who until now are still using composite for dvd playing not even component least to say hdmi

blu rays and hd dvd are not tat hard to get, i get mine from amazon, which is hassle free and fast, and end of the day its even cheaper than those on sale in msia

lucky for jaybee ppl(me biggrin.gif) im able to receive HD signal from spore, although not much, but @ least i know my HD panel is not bought in vain
dunno is there any HD5 users in jaybee yet or not, am i the early adopters? biggrin.gif

i dun think there is anyhting tat can really strect a 4:3 to 16:9 and keeping the right ratio

i can only say those 4:3 files played in full screen mode is acceptable to me

newer models only support SATA

i recorded a 2 hour HD5 movies, cost me 20gbs commercials included biggrin.gif

vex, u can try looking at thei rdealer website for penang address

i think its under www.idealtools.com.my

drian, yeh, many would prefer to opt for a htpc, but for me, only 2 models of pc tat can suit the appearance and size, one is mac mini, and another is the acer slim series, but both of them lacking something, tats why i go for the tvix in the end
