the new Firmware 1.3.168.....it is playing the BDMV like it should.... it load the menu......but it also shows me a msg abt the limitation..bla bla...and the 100 times playback thing. is there a workaround for this countdown? or in other words..what happen after the 100th time?

if it loads BDs like it should, then the Java loading screen should displayed when you select the BDMV file (assuming that title has BDJ content) .. alas it doesn;t..

time to get a real BDMV player...

I'm afraid you bring svs to mpyw's place to poison him, he might end up poisoning you.. both kena poison..

load menu for all ur BDMV?? like ar188 said, seems like the firmware do not support BD java menu... most i manage to play with menu is the simple one.. like the DVD menu.. dunno la wat happen after 100th... never been there..

support ar188 for 4U rack...

on your BD player/PS3, the ones when you load the blu-ray n play it, immediately got the Loading logo come out.. that's the BDJ loading lor.. RE3 has that, the crow with red eye logo.. come out..

no la... it will auto load... i only got 2 of my BDMV having prob which have lots of small m2ts files in the stream folder..

not yet up 4 sale since it's the only player i got can play BDMV, mayb after i got dune..

The supplier showed the basic unit. So i guess it will be pricing for the unit without wireless.

Rx330 - 6600 is using the cheaper realtek chip that's why it's pricing is nice. Now if dvico has one with the sigma 4 series chip ( just like the new dune coming out). That be very delicious n expansive.

bro, any realtek based player able to play BDISO/BDMV with full menu support rite now?

That is a million dollar question, whichever player can do that now sure get a big group of buyers to have the head starts.

guys, wats the difference btwn sigma and realtek other than the price factor?

bro .. the sigma almost can do everything (depends on maker firmware too) .. but the sigma 4 series chip is the beauty one ..
while realtek .. hmm is cheapo chip and is trying to be a big boy player .. time will tell...

Sigma 8642 chip
Our 3.0 solutions are based on Sigma Designs 8642 chip, not on the 8643 one. We'd like to remind that every odd version of Sigma chips is a functionally reduced variant of the chip with the _previous_ even number (i.e. 8643-8642. 8635-8634, ...). Odd versions inc. 8643 and 8635 are never meant for playing any copyright-protected materials (like Blu-ray and DVD) and are mostly meant for cheap IPTV/VoD set-top-boxes. For example, Macrovision support is enabled in 8642 chips and disabled in 8643 ones. So only Dune players on 8642 chip have no limitations with output of protected video through analog video interfaces. Also 8643-based players can not be legally sold in any AV-stores as Blu-ray players (for example, with some preinstalled Blu-ray drive), for Dune BD players there is no such limitation and you'll be able to find them not only in Internet.
