ar188 told me to build HTPC better. Now, seriously of getting one. But, no budget yet. Have to wait til I settle my 7.1 setup first.

Bro rx330, just got this 4100 at the shop for demo purpose. One of the company lend to us. This one hor, maybe will ask the salesppl to give it to me lah. How much for this one?

Cost-effectiveness would be the keyword, right?

I would rather have softcopy than the BD itself. As ar188 mentioned, can save all the hassle

There is another BDP in the shop since October 08(I wouldn't want to mention the brand). They lend to us in order to demo 1080p on their LCD TVs. However, not interested in this one. Hopefully, there will be a profile 2.0 BDP tongue.gif

Hmm... I guess have to go for 7000 or 6500.

PCM output on my AVR. Didnt have the remote for 4100. I suppose it is HD audio. I tried for a while only. Later, I will try it again and let you know.

Can't. Only DTS-ES or Dolby Digital EX at most from 4100 (except Elton John, which is PCM). Probably due to hardware limitation?
