yep, rx330, there seems to be some length mismatch between audio and video for some avi with mp3 soundtrack. You got a fix?

Another question.
I am looking at 4100 and 5100. Both around RM1500. What about 4000 and 5000 model? The price is about RM900. I want to know any significant different ? (Beside the HDMI) |

The 4000/5000 use an older chipset (Sigma 8621 vs 8623), so lesser capabilities in terms of HD file types. If you are just on divx or avi type files, no practical difference...
(I stand ready to be corrected.) Added on January 16, 2008, 6:13 pmPlus there is normally a price delta of about rm200 between the 4100 and 5100... This post has been edited by kkm: Jan 16 2008, 06:13 PM |

Hi guys, i am very interested in 4100sh. few questions b4 i purchase though:
1) Can 4100sh play 1080p video files to my LCDTV (1080i WXGA HD Ready only). 2) Can 4100sh play 1080p video files to a normal (non HD Ready) CRT TV (via composite input)? I am worried that those 1080p files are only meant for FULL HD LCD TV. Thanks guys! This post has been edited by dracozz: Jan 16 2008, 10:39 PM |

Your display device must support 1080p (1920x1080). HD-Ready LCDs (usually 1366x768 like mine) can only take 720p and 1080i.
Similarly, a CRT cannot support full HD, especially not on composite, so you should just get a normal SD picture. Only way out may be to buy a 24 or 30 inch LCD monitor that supports full HD mode. |

i think the users here are of the 4/5100 series, so no upgrading yet, unless the 6500 do miracles
d100200, if tats ur case, go for the 4000 series dracozz, it would play any file as it long it has its codec in regards of resolution, be it fullhd ka, hd ka, its only whether ur tv can output or not, if kenot output , it will deinterlace or whatever they call it so if u playing a 1080p file outputing thru composite, it will play as 480/576i on your tv, tats it, it has nothing to do with ur display |
