Dvico 6500A Picture Quality with 1080P/720P source (more shots at www.macammacamada.com as lyn constraints u to only 10 shots)

This pictures are taken from a Dell 24″ 1080p LCD display panel with HDMI in..Of course the camera won’t do so much justice to the picture quality unless u are using your own eyes….

Anybody out there that is pairing a Panasonic PV80 with the Dvico 7000A? For the life of me I don't seem to be able to get audio when connected through HDMI. I have tried playing around with all the settings.

Cheers.

hello people smile.gif

Just spent the last hour or so reading up on the previous pages...

I have little experience with 1080p media besides my Blu Ray Discs so please bear with me...

Do these files such as .mkv retain the lossless audio from their original source? Also are the latest Dvicos able to stream out lossless audio via HDMI? Will this be like the PS3 and be as Linear PCM or actually be True HD signals?

I guess Dvico owners who run their units via HDMI to recievers can answer this question...

Sorry for the long winded questions.

Possibly planning to match a Dvico 7000 to an Onkyo TX-SR606 Reciever with Mission 5.1 SPeaker Setup. Would be great if one could enjoy Lossless Hi-Def sounds with the Dvico smile.gif

hey guys..actually thinking of getting a tvix but there's a slight little problem. for audio, my old amp only has digital coax and that is connected to my dvd player. no optical.

so short of either unplugging the digital coax cable from my dvd player and connect it into the tvix...are there any other alternatives? going stereo would kinda be a waste of the tvix's capabilities. i want digital all the way!

Added on February 24, 2009, 12:31 amoh ya while we're on the topic of tvix....6500 or 7000? why would anyone go for one or the other apart from its physical outlook?

copy all your dvd collections onto the hard drives ...hehehehe.. dvico even upscales them...

actually after using the dvico why do u even want to use the dvd player anymore..using the dvd player is a waste of tvix capabilities.. blush.gif

6500 is cheaper.. simple as that!!!!
