Receive my friend's hdx1000 to update some files.. so took some pictures of the machines against the dvico 6500a..
won't be able to compare picture quality as he forgot to give the remote

but might be able to check out dvico 4100 series as i just receive one for updates...

From the look, I still prefer dvico over hdx1000.
1) dvico front panel have more info and look nice.
2) Can control without a remote.
3) Dvico don't need an adaptor.
4) Dvico have the fan to reduce the HDD temparature. That can prolong the HDD life.
5) smaller size.

hey guys,
mind to sharing which is best firmware for 6500a?

i did upgraded 1.3.74 but seems it's not stable for some .mpg (1080i) files such as no sound, blank screen, playing middle then stop..
previous fw was 1.3.55 which it work ok. rclxub.gif
