These few days, my speedtest is acting so strange. My current package is 500mbps (turbo). But when I tested it, the speed straight jumps to 800mbps, then go down and maintain at 500mbps. The upload speed also the same. Jump straight to 200mbps, then go down at 100mbps. I use unifi more than 10 years. This is the first time I encounter this.
Logical explanation is they upgrade my port to 800mbps without any notice. for preparation. Once fahmi announces the news, then my package will get the free upgrade. Honestly, I prefer cheaper price instead of free upgrade.
wow, great news, but, same as you , prefer lower price than higher speed.
Because on swu price already lowered, so imagine the fume those on old package with previous turbo upgrade then goes to swu little do they know that upcoming turbo upgrade gonna be lot lower for non contract customer
109 2gbps vs swu 2 gbps
The 50% reduction for wholesale doesn't mean we will get the same half price. I dare say even 1gbps is not gonna be near rm109.

since few ppl keep say speedtest, i just test my 100mbps plan, starting few second it go up to 800mbps, then drop to 110mbps, normally just about 200mbps when start and upload goes over 150mbps, then stable back at 55mbps

Hopefully the price reduction also affected on telco 🙏🏻

Looks like they are configuring something at the server. May be every users account is 800mbps ready now. Could be preparing for something (which you know what) very soon . Anyway, now it's safe to say that they are cooking something behind the scenes. Whether it's a good news or bad news is remain to be seen.

Given the situation, I'd say tm doing some testing at your area.
If you live around subang jaya, high likely you will be earlier batch for the turbo upgrade.

Jump to 800mbps? Dem that's a wallop.
Testing at my ps5 got 320 mbps ( usually 309-305 mbps since I'm using lan) gonna try again at my phone

Ampang area here.
Btw, these few days keep getting those promotion calls and messages from unifi. Almost every day. Sometimes 2 calls a day. Looks llke they are desperately want to close a deal with me before fahmi's anouncement.

Ah same.
Just do some speed test got around 310++ mbps, but given my old router limitation gonna upgrade to ax3000 upcoming week.
My upload speed sudden burst up to 100+ then back to 50 mbps
i using lan cable on pc, i never use wifi even pc got wifi 6
air talk time got limitation, better make it clear so your smartphone can having better WiFi. And it is half-duplex, so it is lesser when pc running high speed for p2p software.
like mine is using realtek usb 2 wifi 6 adapter, it failed to fight with talktime by 2x laptop Intel AX2xx network card, partly resolved by limiting it scan on 2.4Ghz only(guess realtek bug). even more as neighbors all stay on 160MHz....
Monday 25th September 2023 Six days till the end of September This is it, the final stretch. Hopefully we will get an agreement between the telcos and the official signing and announcement of new pricing this week.
