Booking date April 24th within the first hour of launch, Black with White interior. M3P

DA gave me the same story, but after pushing he admitted management has say on allocation for the early cars. Guess even with such a transparent system direct to Tesla, the local team inject “friends and family” privileges to make the system less efficient. It’s frustrating to see deliveries had started almost 2 weeks ago and I’ve not had a VIN.

Safest time to buy is just before tax holiday is over, hence after that with tax price kick in... it will never be cheaper... so wait until then.

Yes but by then the highland version is already 2 years old unless you are looking for juniper.

It's like whether you wanna enjoy the car or enjoy the discount. Ppl enjoy huge discounts when buying last year flagship phone also.

Hi guys, am looking to purchase my first EV. Now im considering either the Model 3 LR or SR. Initially im looking at the LR but after much research i read that you shouldnt charge the LR to 100% full on daily basis. So the range for the SR & LR is roughly the same.

I dont drive fast. I dont drive far. My car is mostly from my house to my workplace and back home. The furthest i drive will be back to my wife hometown which is only 150km away.

Now my question is the difference in speaker/sound system and performance really that great?

IMHO you already answered your own question. For your requirement SR will be more than sufficient.
You mentioned you don't drive fast, so why need to consider the performance difference. But anyhow, the SR is no slouch, for me it is more than enough to overtake any cars in the highway even with the whole family on board LOL

Haha yea i kind of know the answer to my question just want to know some opinion from other owners and see what they think before i pull the trigger. Since the difference in pricing between the 2 is not much. But however every dollar save is every dollar earn laugh.gif

Only differences other than the dual motor is, the suede finish on the door (doesn’t matter if you going for white interior) and the speakers which I really enjoyed.

Based on your explanation… SR is a better choice 🤣 no need spend the extra $ solely for the #DuaMotor

laugh.gif confirm kena poisoned by the Dual Motor...

But I think nowadays the test drive is locked to "chill" mode... maybe won't kena poisoned by the Dual Motor since can't test the "standard" mode. Back in Nov'23 when I test drive, it was just speed limited to 130 km/h, still can access "standard" mode. 2 months back I tried the MYLR... locked to "chill" mode. Sigh... this car feels so unresponsive sweat.gif

Dua Motor is addictive... sure you won't be flooring it daily... but it is always there when you need it brows.gif

I don't even want to get started on the M3P... not gonna test drive too... gonna make me regret further not waiting for M3P.

devil.gif but personally when I bought mine only had SR and LR... and the LR was so addictive on Standard mode. Plus the sound I'm pretty picky about it, so... LR it is.

Good news people!
Tesla now opens the low financing rate for long range and performance models.

Nice. No wonder the inventory of model Y is taken out quite first. Standard no more white color.

Guys! Want to ask the battery of performance vs long range

Is it a different battery tech?
Which battery would fair better from day to day usage?
