hi Tesla Model 3 owners, is the latest facelift model 3 can disable the one pedal drive or reduce the brake regen effect? Been test drive and wife said she pening when seating at the rear seat. I hope when release the pedal, the car can flow like the normal ICE car.

nope, the highland version cannot disable one pedal drive or reduce the regen effect.

when you drive long enough and know how to control the right foot, the passenger will feel better over time.

Once you get used to it, no issue... Tesla's throttle response one of the best so far.

I had the same problem as well during the first 2 weeks of driving my Tesla. But after I get used to it, I honestly think this is a much better design than ICE car's control, it became easier to drive (more natural) and my family feel very smooth and comfortable at the rear seat (better than my other ICE car).

Nope you can't do that. However, once you get the hang of the one-pedal drive, the ride is gonna be as smooth as butter.

Is it possible to subscribe to EAP or FSD after purchase of the car? Am actually more keen on the auto lane change functions in EAP, considering I do quite a bit of driving up and down the NSE...

As of today, it is not possible to purchase EAP or FSD in the app, post-delivery.
EAP or FSD can only be bundled together when you initially order your car at Tesla website (you can bundle it into your loan).

Anyway, you may consider EAP but not recommend to look at FSD. FSD is not usable at Malaysia yet, and I do not think it'll be legalized here anytime soon.

Hi,

You may purchase Enhanced Autopilot (EAP) through our Tesla Service Centre. Please note that Full Self-Driving (FSD) is currently not available in Malaysia for post-delivery purchase.

The quotation for EAP is approximately MYR 16,000, and payment will be charged directly to the card linked in your Tesla app. There is no need to visit the Service Centre, as the firmware package will be delivered to your vehicle over the air.

Kindly let us know if you wish to proceed, and we will arrange for our Service Advisor to contact you for confirmation and payment processing.

I guess will have to talk to Service Advisor to ask. I was just curious to know, but in the email it says it will charge to the card linked in our Tesla app, so maybe it is a one-off payment...

EAP, to me at least, is not worth the money it asks for....

Other than the auto change lane, the rest i feel is more of a gimmick to show off to your friends..

Yeah I would rather wait for the acceleration boost package and pocket the remaining RM8k from the balance of the EAP purchase

Ya, EAP is definitely not worth the price in my opinion. It is running on a few years old framework (not their current FSD end-to-end AI framework) that cannot handle a lot of edge cases. I just hope Malaysia government can legalize FSD soon.
