Hmm, technically u should b able to..Make sure u don't brick the psp slim or when u buy ask them to do it for u =_=..But if i'm not mistaken, nearly all homebrew games can work..not 100% all can run ^-^d

even in 3.60m33 also can run homebrew.. only there is limitation..

software.. this too hard to answer because outside there too many.. but this is known as homebrew...

about the thing.. maybe the psp fat compatibility better..? not sure about this..

backup.. use NAND tool..

To unbrick. To backup your file, flash your PSP's flash0 and copy all your files to your desktop (dic, vsh, fonts etc tec)

That's all and why do you want to backup your files so bad?! Of course before starting pandora you have to backup it's eeprom.bin, Press square at the pandora's battery creator and you're done.

older firmware dont have any theme(PTF) files. so in order to change wallpaper,wave,gameboot,cintro,icon,sounds.. we have to flash it to flash0..or use cxmb plugin. that's why some slight mistake could brick the psp while replacing the theme. laugh.gif

i dun really understand wat u're saying .... flash psp's flash0 after flashing that still can copy all the files to desktop shocking.gif ?

and i wanna ask why some other ppl make pandora battery need to use soldering to solder the things inside the battery ?

i need step by step on doing pandora battery and mspd got any guides ? thx

Added on November 23, 2007, 4:29 pmafter doing some researches from this link http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=81424

i dun understand wat is the real perpouses to make pandora's battery and i doesnt understand these few lines need help here :
Stage 3 you cannot run since you will need a phat psp to copy these required files over. This is what had me stumped for a while. When I tried to boot the psp with the memory stick made with this GUI and the pandora battery it would go green but the memory stick would not be accessed. You will need to get the kd and registry directories from someone who has made a Slim magic memory stick. I asked around and got these and this was what was missing, I am sure if you 'google' or ask nicely someone will send these too you.

and these lines :

These are the necessary .prx .dregs etc.. that need to be accessed on boot up. The GUIs do not create these, I tried a few other GUIs as well none of them did. After I just copied these to the root of my memory stick, I replaced the pandora battery in the slim and WHOLA the memory stick was accessed and the psp shut down after a few seconds. You will not see anything on your screen as the 1.5 kernel does not display on new slim screen. The only way you can tell its working is orange MS access light and green light turning off. Then its safe to replace your battery with a standard one and reboot psp.

Enjoy your home brew. This is my first attempt to describe how to get this working so there may be parts I need to edit to describe better, but it drove me nuts for 8 hours to figure how to get a slim flashed with M33 firmware without a Phat PSP. With the hardware mod battery, it was now possible to flash without a Phat psp with just a few files and programs.

Added on November 23, 2007, 4:30 pmand 1 more question do we really need to remove the battery leg to make pandora battery ?

Added on November 23, 2007, 4:35 pmand wat firmware are u guyz using ? and kernel add on is for wat ?

Actually when u finished create the backup.. there is a files created. The files is known as nand-dump.bin. Inside it contain all the files/info stored on the psp.

There is 2 step.. 1 is soft.. 1 is hard..

.prx = plugin ->so far what i know
Last time i also read that, there is some GUI program will create pandora easily but some prefer manual because they know what are they doing. But somehow i found there is even 1 more easier.. no need psp fat to create this.. but.. i forgot the link blush.gif
Pandora battery will boot the psp in different state.. its not normal boot.
1.5 kernal = so far i only know this is use to run homebrew program perfectly because most of the program outside there is created for 1.5.
Homebrew = for pc, we called this as application
hardware mod battery = this is what u ask just now, why they open their battery. hardware modded.. mean they didnt use software to create pandora battery

battery = from answer above u should understand now.. there is hard modded and soft modded.. it depend on which method u wan to use

kernal add on.. if u didnt plan to use homebrew program.. u can ignore this.. but this also answered above..

Sorry of my bad english if my explanation still make u hard to understand .. notworthy.gif but i never create a pandora or magic memory.. so far i only know what is that.. but never try.. notworthy.gif
