QUOTE(gush @ Nov 21 2007, 03:54 PM) guys, have ever ym-ing using the psp?? if u have.. can u put on some screenshots how it look like? kinda curious how it would be like. I find it, its too hard to type word.. QUOTE Using psp video 9 to convert a mp4-avc at 480x272. And i put it in MP_ROOT/100ANV01/MAQ20002.MP4 But when trying to play, it show.. "This video cannot be player. The data type is not supported." I thought on newer version it can support avc codec? Currently mine is 3.71 m33 |

Is this PSP 2000 better than the previous one?
I heard that it's a little confusing when it gets to upgrading, downgrading or unbricking. Is that true? |

QUOTE(bloodvanille @ Nov 22 2007, 06:41 AM) Is this PSP 2000 better than the previous one? because it didnt included 1.50 kernal + more security.. once mess with id storage then it time to say bb to wifi,umd.. that why.. I heard that it's a little confusing when it gets to upgrading, downgrading or unbricking. Is that true? upgraded internal memory , increase loading speed upgraded wifi range compare old psp slimmer , better design 1200 mAH battery but same play time compare old psp -> read from some website.. About my question.. is that mean no one use AVC codec for their psp? |

Okie, let's make it simple. If I save the files in the PSP in somewhere safe as my backup, even when it's bricked, I am able to unbrick it because I have the backup right?

If you love portability such as music and movies on the go, I think it's better to have the slim. |

QUOTE(samliang @ Nov 22 2007, 03:34 PM) that means after i upgraded the firmware to 3.71 M33 then i can straight play homebrew without adding in any software ? For the fat PSP, you have to install the 1.50 kernel addon before actually playing homebrew in 3.71 M33. Since the 1.50 kernel addon isn't supported by the slim, I guess there is another way to play homebrew games on this firmware.btw , can i know wat is all the software that can put inside psp and use it ? and why does ppl say if hardcore gamer uses a fat psp and if not a hardcore then uses the slim ? i tot the battery life is the same ? and guyz can i know how to backup the psp ? totally backup everything , incase i bricked .... Why do I say hardcore gamer - fat and not hardcore gamer - slim is because its portability (not much of a difference actually) and handiness of slim can be turned into your personal mp3 or movie player (the fat psp can also be these but since it's a little heavy and bulky it isn't that suitable) and also the slim's upgrading and downgrading process is a little complicating compared to the fat PSP's.btw , can i know wat is all the software that can put inside psp and use it ? and why does ppl say if hardcore gamer uses a fat psp and if not a hardcore then uses the slim ? i tot the battery life is the same ? and guyz can i know how to backup the psp ? totally backup everything , incase i bricked ....
