QUOTE(tot31 @ Oct 22 2007, 04:21 PM) It can be unbrick..the chances are like 70-30. try to use DC v3. I've unbrick one before but that guy bricked it again until the idstorage is damaged but still I managed to unbrick it but after that the slim lost it's wifi, umd and playing games and homebrews from MSPD capabilities. His psp slim can only play mp3 and mp4 files.. The guy that bricked again.. if on earlier if he got the NAND .. then even after unbrick its he still able to use wifi, umd, playing game?

If using the open source NAND dump.. it will not brick our psp right? game/ game150/ gameXXX/ either directory also is ok right? Added on October 23, 2007, 9:50 pmhad read the readme.. it said put at higher kernal directory.. but there is some risk.. will it brick our psp when dumping? QUOTE(tot31 @ Oct 24 2007, 10:19 AM) I really doubt it. Yes you can unbrick but after that no wifi, no umd acces and no games. Only can play mp3/mp4. Why don't you try it to prove me wrong. Got balls? Added on October 24, 2007, 10:34 am One example what I've been talking about. See that nick..he's a forumer here too. so basically its still the same.. cant fully utilise it for full brick after unbrick using another nand dump..

QUOTE(dattebayo @ Oct 25 2007, 01:45 PM) 1. the default case u ll access the mspd only, unless u change the toggle USB settings in recovery menu 2. dunno 3. you can just copy the entire contents from the old stick to the new ones via PC, which I think is faster, also remember to format it via PC, so u can choose FAT, as PSP will format the 4GB to be FAT32, which will make the mspd extremely slow that why my mspd extreamtly slow thanks to ur great information.. i think i will format the mspd i think access the flash0 directory is not save.. this is how i bricked my psp after access it.. Added on October 25, 2007, 6:08 pmoops.. the mspd not support FAT.. only can format to FAT32 This post has been edited by bububang: Oct 25 2007, 06:08 PM

QUOTE(Pip_X @ Oct 25 2007, 07:29 PM) Use command prompt to format the 4GB mspd to FAT. example: format "drive letter" /fs:FAT more info here: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documen...t.mspx?mfr=truethanks.. it works.. but juz wondering.. why the right click didnt show but we can use command prompt to format it into FAT instead of FAT32? However when using FAT i try transfer a file.. the speed look same.. Added on October 26, 2007, 2:10 amQUOTE(tot31 @ Oct 26 2007, 12:54 AM) yeah right and those shops might not even know how to use a hex editor and which address to extract the idstorage of the slim. if we got a nand dump.. do we still need use the hex editor? For the theme.. in ver 3.71m33-2 isnt that the is .prx? They said using this it will not brick ur psp except u try to access flash root using USB This post has been edited by bububang: Oct 26 2007, 02:11 AM

QUOTE(MR.Shiney @ Oct 26 2007, 11:02 AM) why you wanna do that? just format the card by using psp lor why? what? im not flamming you or anything im just giving you a friendly advice. well said this reminds me when during the FAT era, everyone is scared to mod their psp Added on October 26, 2007, 11:04 ami got experience in hex editing. went back during GTA3 games. i hex edit car files to change the size of the wheel rims its quite confusing and difficult if you got no idea what you're doing dont know if its the same apply to psp though. i know there is a program which can hex for game.. but.. i only know last time the police car become racing-type car.. steal it and drive

QUOTE(Pip_X @ Oct 26 2007, 06:19 PM) Works only for 3.52 M33-2 and above. If you have the vsh menu enabled, open it and change the NO_UMD from sony NP0996 to M33. Or change it in the recovery menu by holding R while power on the PSP. Search for a NO_UMD setting and change it. Be sure not to mess anything other than that. Thanks. how bout running psx game(eboot.pbp) and the screen whole blank i search over forum they said is because the kernal, folder name..

QUOTE(tot31 @ Oct 29 2007, 07:39 PM) Format F1 and restore to default...this option is really dangerous for PSP slim. it'll corrupt the Flash1 partitions..so be careful.. i thought flash1 directory is for restore default if there is some error?

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Slim Guard Skin for PSP keeps grease, dust at bay
Posted Oct 29th 2007 11:30PM by Nick Doerr Filed under: Peripherals You know what really stinks? When you're showing off your PSP to a friend, but they laugh and say "you must be very greasy, as there are fingerprints all thereabouts on your handheld gaming device!" This can be a problem that follows you for the rest of the day. Luckily, Divineo has a solution for you in the Ultra Slim Guard Skin Advance for PSP -- it protects your PSP from dust and scratches, as well as some fingerprinting, assuming you don't try to use the PSP as a touch screen. The skin surprisingly leaves all your connections open, even the UMD drive. For about $7, it seems like a decent deal if you're worried about getting your PSP scratched, or if you've got butterfingers. SourceHow do u all think about this?
