Is this PSP 2000 better than the previous one?
I heard that it's a little confusing when it gets to upgrading, downgrading or unbricking. Is that true?

Shouldn't the unbricking process consumes one pandora's? I don't get it.

I think, if you are a hardcore gamer and you wanna play many games on the PSP, it's better getting the fat one.
If you love portability such as music and movies on the go, I think it's better to have the slim.

For the fat PSP, you have to install the 1.50 kernel addon before actually playing homebrew in 3.71 M33. Since the 1.50 kernel addon isn't supported by the slim, I guess there is another way to play homebrew games on this firmware.

Added on November 22, 2007, 4:15 pmWhy do I say hardcore gamer - fat and not hardcore gamer - slim is because its portability (not much of a difference actually) and handiness of slim can be turned into your personal mp3 or movie player (the fat psp can also be these but since it's a little heavy and bulky it isn't that suitable) and also the slim's upgrading and downgrading process is a little complicating compared to the fat PSP's.

Wah so cool..

To unbrick. To backup your file, flash your PSP's flash0 and copy all your files to your desktop (dic, vsh, fonts etc tec)

That's all and why do you want to backup your files so bad?! Of course before starting pandora you have to backup it's eeprom.bin, Press square at the pandora's battery creator and you're done.

@smokepsp : I remember the theme InaFlow that bricked my PSP. *ARGH*
