Through custom resolutions via forceware. Nvidia Control Panel --> Manage custom resolutions --> Create ... and setup as 1.jpg ... then click test and add and you should have the custom resolution ... which will be selectable in-game and also on the desktop.

In this case, it doesn't matter if your monitor doesn't support the res you choose (my monitor doesn't support 1280x800), because the driver does 1280x800 res but upscales it to 1680x1050 (or whatever your native monitor res is).

damn...very the laggy for this game. LOL...bad performance. tried every settings but all the same. guess its the engine.

some ppl reported that changing the warengineusersettings.ini for this parameter:
OnlyStreamInTextures=False to True might improve the gameplay. it reduced my shuttering a bit. but not sure how much as din capture the FPS. hehe...

so u guys also feel some lag ? izzit the lag is as frequent as every 4secs ?
I notice the lag is quite weird, it's not about graphic memory or watsoever, bcoz when in gun fighting with many enemies my fps still remain around there..just the "weird lag" happen non stop, quite annoying ..

tell u man, i tried to lower all the settings, and it still lags. so i think it is not the hardwares. the game itself needs some tweaks.
or...yeah....a big patch. laugh.gif

they said nvidia latest drivers for the 88 series can't support 1440x900 resolution. and nobody knows why.
*
U sure about that? Coz rite now I'm using forceware 169.09 and every game I played runs perfectly @ 1440x900.

of course i'm not sure. because it is mentioned in other forums on GoW. The 1440x900 wont come out in the options page.
i'll leave it to you to tell us, or when i get my 8800GT. laugh.gif
