Added on November 13, 2007, 6:24 pmur gc is 128 bit..1024 wif low n medium i think can coz u aint got prblem wif ram n proc..just about ur gc..try to oc ur gc using rivatuner...

damn sia. i running on barton 2600+ 1gb ram and 9600xt.. dun even know can run on lowest setting or not.

nope..it was crashed becoz of omega driver, I uninstalled it and just use normal catalyst, and everything going smooth

for prfrmnce,go for 7900 gpu for dx9
coz 8800 price is too steep
a good cpu coz u 1900

Anyway I'm running this game on my old rig:

Intel pentium 4 ht 3.0 ghz
1gb ddr400 kingston
Xfx 7800gs extreme agp

All maximum settings except for shadows on medium (haven't tried it on high yet) and vsync off.
So far the game runs great on 1440x900 without any problems. Just a couple of stuttering other than that the game is playable

the alt tab thing did not work for me

u open ms paint...and paste it...and walla...there is ur saved screen...

1.press print screen button
2.then press alt + tab or alt + f1
3.open ms paint ( start>program>accessories>paint)
4.press Edit>Paste or ctrl + v
5.ur screenshot will appear, press File>Save As or Ctrl + S

Any of you guys on XP?

My monitor native res is 1600x1050 (16:10 aspect), and my 8600gts can't really handle that res without occasional stuttering ... but there are no options at all for a lower 16:10 aspect.

Bioshock on Vista lets you choose 1280x800 (also 16:10) for a full-screen stretch, but Bioshock on XP doesn't have that option, so I'm wondering if it's the same for GoW.

At the moment I'm using 11x86 but it's a 4:3 aspect so I got black bars on left/right of my screen and it's a "waste" of screen space.

Any ideas? I'm using the latest beta nvidia drivers.

can I play it smoothly if I replace my current gc to 8600GT 256mb?res 1024 x 768

For 1600x1050 and above, you will need 8800GTS 640mb the most. The rest will struggle like what you are experiencing right now. I can lower my resolution without any problem here

erm.. my reso is 1680x1050 and i using 8800gts 320mb. no problem there. the only 16:10 reso that i can choose is either 1680x1050 or 1280x960. there is no inbetween though. weird rite?
