Moral of the story, buy your own router and just subscribe to the contract-less plan. At this point, I'm thinking the provided routers have some flaws.

U Home 5G with FUP 1000GB, 1000GB is download only or download + upload ?

I see,  I'm fed up with the ZTE MC888s. I signed up two weeks ago with a contract, and the speed is barely above 10 Mbps—ridiculous! I’ve complained to customer service, and they’re replacing the router, but I requested a different model. Instead of fixing the issue, they closed the first case without properly reading my complaint! I raised another case ticket and scolded the CS kaw kaw haha

I just purchased Gteniq IQ02X55 ver2 5G router at Shopee (price after discount about RM805).
Been running for few days and I am so satisfied with it.

Now NO MORE frequent auto reboot compared to my old ZTE MC888s free router by umobile.

been getting consistent ~450Mbps DL ~50Mbps UL with 17ms ping.
5G tower is just ~1km from my home in Jitra Kedah.
Can lock bands too.
This is just using the internal antennas (2x WiFi, 4x 5G). Gteniq can use outdoor parabolic antennas as well, but with the good signal strength I'm getting (-85 dBm LTE, -90 dBm 5G), I think no need for outdoor antennas.

As i understand, this Gteniq 5G router is using Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 chipset, which is the same as my wife's ZTE MU5120 portable 5G MiFi router.
Very stable, cpu & wifi temperature under its WebUI shows below 50 deg C during operation.

But I do have UniFi fiber line as main internet.

the 5G serve as backup and to offload 50% IoT devices riding on my main ASUS AX82U router.

Hi, could you please share where you bought your ZTE MU5120 ?
I've been itching to get a better MiFi router since I travel site to site for work, but never got to upgrading.
My current old MiFi (TP-Link M7350) is unable to maintain a stable signal for U Home 5G at times  .

last time i bought at shopee at this particular shop called sing4g.
Bought last year at RM1,620  .
But it's a good device nonetheless and so far my wife never complain anything about slowness, no signal, auto reboot or etc.
but no more stock it seems.

you could try this shop but they ship from china.
so far got good reviews though.

one shop got local stock, selling for RM1,099 but that shop's got no rating even though been selling for 7 years in shopee. No one has bought there too so I don't recommend you though.

Don't think B310 support B28, so your modem B310 only running on 4G Data speed, depend area speed might below 70Mbps...

I really suspect IP recycle like our router. Last time I also same problem with Celcom 5G which I applied for office. Everyday same 8am hang. Even when I purposely restart router at 7am also hang. Guess what, its gone now... never happen again.

My stock UM router has been stable after I dismantle the cover and cooling it with a 80mm fan.

Still I think recently UM starting to throttle some apps... the one I encounter most problem is Youtube surprisingly. Those recorded videos are working fine because UM already cache them I think. Those live LOL matches are super hard to stream even in 1080p60.

I registered NordVPN after the recent MCMC fiasco with DNS filtering. Installed Nord on my TV, connect to SG server and I can even stream 1440p without lag. It seems like VPN is a must nowadays.
