Just some feedback, my old autogate (arm type, swing) started to give problems after 3 years of use, I checked around quite a bit and finally settled for MAG 303 for RM1,200 (installer is Winson 012-206 0138). I installed it 2 days ago and here are my comments-

- Excellent service, Winson is very accomodating, I changed my appointment twice and he was ok with it
- Found out that the arm and motor is actually OAE (look out for the OAE stamp on the arm) but control panel is under MAG, OAE is a very reliable brand
- Arm is heavy duty and was double the size of my previous autogate
- it was so silent, could hardly hear it, range is also quite good with the remote
- workmanship was eexcellent, they touched up all the welded joints with their own spray paint
- MAG uses parts and components that are easily available in KL, according to him, which means that after warranty period, anyone can service it

All in all, I think it's good value for money. I have attached the photo when it was half completed, it took 3 hours to install even with all wirings in place before.

Hi Guys, did you all heard anything that the DCMoto products are not stable? One of the installer told me that, DCMoto keep changing and updating their parts. Until the dealer not able to follow and need to keep a lot of different parts for different batch of same model.

I had been suggested by Wilson to use DC Moto because I am planning to change my gate to folding type from my current swing type. The current underground autogate system keep causing problem and paid a lot to repairing it. Therefore, thinking to change the whole system.

Hi, house is starting renovation soon and was recommended by the contractor to fix the 15 feet folding gate.(2 sedan car can move in and out easily? with the 15 feet folding gate)
I need a gate thats easy to maintain(maintenance free would be good.. haha), but am not looking at stainless steel gate. I was told 15 feet aluminium folding gate costs RM5k plus, my budget is only rm3500. Btw, is it possible to do a smaller gate inside the folding gate for easy access? Meaning if I parked my car outside, no need to open the folding gate, just open the small gate to go to my car. So, I'm left with wrought iron gate. Any other recommendation? I like this kinda gate so here is the pix..

Any idea what's the price this gate?

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

And after reading thru a few pages, it seems that OAE is the system to get and Winson is the guy to look for. What about DCmoto? I already hv the wires(will the contractor still charge me for wiring?), currently using West Mark for my swing gate, damn reliable.. think its more than 5yrs problem free. Thanks!

Hi all, got my autogate system installed.
End up i still choose arm type, and i got it from Winson - MAG Wing 303.
But the person install is not from Winson's company, as refer to ths guy name Lo. Winson sub the job to him, and during the installation day Winson just drop by and take a look.
1 feedback on the Wing 303, i think it's quike slow. Even on my 5 foot gate (each side), I dont feel like it's heavy duty enough. So for those who like to have a fast moving gate when open and close, you might not want to consider this.
And the price i got from Winson was RM1200, and he accept check.

Folding and swing using same arm / mechanism. I am using oae arm for about 19 months. So far OK.

Folding gate very dependent on the gate installer, if alignment not straight the gate will slip frequently.
