I used Hong today, honest fellow and charged me only RM38, problem in autogate solved. Would recommend him to anyone.

Yeah, Winson said the same to me, have not installed yet as my existing autogate still working after minor repair, am also curious to know if Mag is good, very cheap RM1200..

yeah, I had the same experience, 3 different guys quoted me 3 different prices for dc moto...each one had a different warranty period and warranty coverage differs...how to know which is a reliable buy..

I am about to instal new autogate and narrowed it down to 2 brands:- DC Moto 925W (RM1,500) and Mag wing (RM1,200), can anyone help on pros and cons of both? Totally confused..which one to get...would appreciate comments from those who have installed either model, thanks!

Just some feedback, my old autogate (arm type, swing) started to give problems after 3 years of use, I checked around quite a bit and finally settled for MAG 303 for RM1,200 (installer is Winson 012-206 0138). I installed it 2 days ago and here are my comments-

- Excellent service, Winson is very accomodating, I changed my appointment twice and he was ok with it
- Found out that the arm and motor is actually OAE (look out for the OAE stamp on the arm) but control panel is under MAG, OAE is a very reliable brand
- Arm is heavy duty and was double the size of my previous autogate
- it was so silent, could hardly hear it, range is also quite good with the remote
- workmanship was eexcellent, they touched up all the welded joints with their own spray paint
- MAG uses parts and components that are easily available in KL, according to him, which means that after warranty period, anyone can service it

All in all, I think it's good value for money. I have attached the photo when it was half completed, it took 3 hours to install even with all wirings in place before.

And he obliged me and altered the code on all 3 of my previous remote controls and all are now compatible with the new autogate, so I now have 6 remote controls

Actually, mine is slow too, Winson said the speed can be increased but too fast also not good, increases wear and tear apparently, so I am happy with current speed as remote can activate the gate from a distance of at least 20 metres if your car tint is smart tag friendly...
