Since many find the eco idle inconvenient, P2 should make it off in default. Cant this be done?

Maybe I'm too used to the 1st Gen Insight/CRZ (which did it way worse) and Mazda's i-stop that I actually don't find eco-idle bad enough to turn off laugh.gif

Also, for me it only takes a slight pressure diff on the brake pedal (strangely more/less both works) and an extra split second to turn the engine back on anyway so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But yeah, at least stop-start stopper relays are a thing.

Not sure why anyone find it inconvenient. Just shift your foot and it will turn back on anyway (if feeling hot). But generally I will let the engine stay off if not uncomfortable, why waste petrol? Blower still works after all.

will it affect the aircon compressor lifespan , since it will start the engine while the aircon is on?

Not sure myself. Compressor turns off though, only fan remains on during eco mode. That's how it saves energy after all.

It is electronic switch and motor, they don't get spoilt easily by multiple turn on and off. Just use it as normal and if under slow moving traffic, then just manually turn off.

Sorry to hear that. Based on my experience, make sure to keep chasing perodua, my wife's Alza spent 2 months plus waiting for some stupid insurance approval where there was no movement. Perodua sent to insurance, insurance sent assessor, assessor didn't come and no one chase anything until I tak tahan and keep calling them one by one. Hopefully this is not the normal case, but wasted a lot of time on that.

3 weeks consider fast if sent to perodua repair and damage outlet.

I concur as feel not very useful in our traffic condition here especially in Klang valley that frequent stop & go due to heavy traffic.

I wonder if it give more damages to the engine or other related parts compared to fuel saving...As some of you mentioned that this is for the car manufacturer to achieve EEV status for incentive....maintenance is borned by user so may be better for them, just my 2 cents. tongue.gif

Sometime when manually turn off during traffic can be dangerous as get distracted. I have trained myself to always manually turn off when starting the car...

Alza AV garnet red checking in.
Got the car 1.5months back.

There is one minor paint defect on the bonnet but it was not very obvious. Does anyone had this problem as well?

Also, does anyone noticed "breathing" sound from behind when you are driving? Or is it just me? The rear A/C was off.
*
Yes. The breathing sound. Rear aircon is off also got sound. Planning to send to SC in my 10k service later.

If I leave the gear at D mode, when the engine auto start, seems like got a bit rush to the front. I find it a bit scary. It’s fine when the gear is in N.
I too turn off this feature.

And regarding the not smoothness during low speed, I get this feeling every morning. Seems like turning off the “idle
Off” feature makes the car smoother.

Puspakom only when you sell directly to individual buyer.

If you deal with Perodua, Mytukar or any car dealer, they handle Puspakom for you.

If you sell yourself, may get market value despite all fhe hassle of dealing with buyers, scammers etx
Sell via mytukar/ dealers lose a few K from market
Trade in Perodua lose even more K - worst $ option but most convenient as you hand in your car when new one arrives.

I sold one car (and tried to sell an other) through both mytukar and carsome, definitely do not need any puspakom. They do their own inspection and can take it off your hands immediately if your documents/keys are ready (and if you okay with the price).

nope.. only the fan is on if you on it.. the compressor wont jalan until the engine started. just like normally if you start car with compressor switch on, but only kicks in after engine started.
