Hi guys, wta for the new alza if you fold down the 2nd row seats and combined it with the 3rd row, if a 6 foot tall person lie down completely, would he have enough room to lie down on the seats or still not enough length to cover his legs??

Lie down completely means 3rd row seat back is supporting his back? In that case no issue to lean against the 3rd row seat and then use 2nd row to support legs (I'm 5 11 and can do this).

But full lie down fully horizontal... 3rd row seat can't fold backwards all the way, only can fold down forwards (in which case the only thing you can do for 2nd row is fold forward as well, which makes it not super flat). I can try that if you're really interested.

Haha ya I kean lie down fully horizontal. If its not too much to ask, could you lie down and feel how comfortable it is?

this alza is ok lor...coz my previous daily car is bezza...lol

compare with my family estima is diff lor...

the dcvt is great...but the engine really need a boost...adding turbo should be the better way coz the car is heavy.

1.5 NA is a bit bottleneck for the transmission since you can choose 3 drive mode.... the high rpm revving drive mode is disappointing due to lack of engine power.

195/50/16 profile is a bit narrow for this new wider alza. in city and straight line is ok, but long journey and speeding on hiway it become woobly and unstable at speeding corner.

overall I'm ok with this Alza...for 75k i got more space especially the height clearance to bring big boxes that can't fit in sedan trunk.
*
Thanks for sharing. But is the power/speed of the alza a major improvement compared to the 1.3 bezza? Asking bcs my current car is also a bezza.

alza weight is the downside... acceleration is good, but not top speed...

all time on hiway, you get pass by bezza, myvi and even axia lol...even ur speed already 160.

but alza give u more comfort, more size and more gadget than any car below 80k, heck can be on par with 100k car.

I always turn off the lane departure warning when on hiway, it just annoying and messing ur steering.

it folds flat but since the back of the seats are hard, so may not be comfortable (at least for me, but personally have not tried to sleep on it before).

if you put a thin mat / padding on it first, should be better.

if managed to get a show unit car, best to try it yourself.  maybe any members here can give comments.

thanks for the reply.
Ya as long as its flat its good. Happen to know is the length longer than a 6 foot tall person?

There is a slight incline rising a bit towards the dashboard, not completely flat.

After folding, the back of the third and second row seats are hollow hence your body not properly supported, you need another hard 'platform' to sleep on.

To the back of the front seats can fit in 6 feet. If move the front passenger seat and tilted forward get another extra foot but width constraint by the front arm rest.

Thanks a lot for the answer dogbert. notworthy.gif

Puspakom only when you sell directly to individual buyer.

If you deal with Perodua, Mytukar or any car dealer, they handle Puspakom for you.

If you sell yourself, may get market value despite all fhe hassle of dealing with buyers, scammers etx
Sell via mytukar/ dealers lose a few K from market
Trade in Perodua lose even more K - worst $ option but most convenient as you hand in your car when new one arrives.

thanks bro. notworthy.gif
Ya tried to sell my car at mudah, a lot of scammer.
You sure mytukar they handle everything for you bcs i read in a thread in /k recently when he sold his car using carsome he has to do the puspakom thing himself and few other problem he encountered. mytukar and carsome are about the same thing right?

I sold one car (and tried to sell an other) through both mytukar and carsome, definitely do not need any puspakom. They do their own inspection and can take it off your hands immediately if your documents/keys are ready (and if you okay with the price).

I trade in my old alza.  They took my car just about few days or 1 week before i took the new alza.  Just schedule with the sales person.

Just to share my experience in KL. I got Perodua to organise for trade-in valuation & I also went on Carsome. Carsome quoted me a price below my expectation, then offer me to place my car on their online auction (you give a target price & they will it put up, if no bid, they will re-auction next round with 5% price drop & they'll do this twice) with no commitments. If there is a bid, you can decide whether to take up or pass. If finally you didn't manage to sell your car, there will be no cost to you. But, if you sell via the auction, they will charge you RM500 if price is less than RM50K, else it'll be RM1K. I gave the auction a try.

Then, I went in to Perodua for valuation (and discuss on the delivery) & they quoted slightly higher than Carsome's quote. After nego (managed to get an additional RM1K), I finally decided to go with the Perodua-arranged trade-in option.

It is Perodua-arranged in the sense that Perodua arranged for a 2nd hand car dealer to buy my old car. But, to the customer (that is me), there is no difference on who is the eventual buyer - I just pass my registration card to them & they go to register an intent to transfer ownership at JPJ website, then, I just pay Perodua the price difference for the new car and when eventually the new car is ready, I just drive my old car to Perodua sales office & the 2nd hand car dealer will come to take delivery of the old car & I took delivery of the new car.

Just to complete the story, eventually, I got a bid from Carsome's online auction and after deducting their service fees, I would have got more for my old car than via Perodua's trade-in (around RM1.5K). But, selling via Carsome means you need to deliver the car to them within 5 days (& they'll pay to you within a couple of days) - they'll take care of JPJ/Puspakom side, just like Perodua's trade-in. So, the hassles for selling to Carsome are: you may need to pay the full amount to Perodua first & you'll have to find alternate transport as you will unlikely be able to get your new car at the same time as delivering your car to Carsome. I decided to go for the trade-in to avoid hassles biggrin.gif

Hope the above experience is useful.
