V5 - WELCOME TO LYN ALZA THREAD! rclxms.gif rclxms.gif thumbup.gif

Attached Image

The 2022 Perodua Alza was officially launched on July 20, but with the order books having been opened for it on June 23, around 30,000 buyers look set to get the MPV with the sales tax exemption intact, following the government’s government that the SST exemption can to be applied to any new vehicle booked by June 30 and registered before March 31 next year.

The Alza is available in three variant forms, and as announced during the launch, the price starts from RM62,500 for the 1.5L X, rising up to RM68,000 for the mid-spec 1.5L H and RM75,500 for the range-topping 1.5L AV, all on-the-road excluding insurance. These prices are of course with sales tax included.

I have not done any claim before, hence can't say which is good in that process.

been with Takaful Ikhlas when bought new Axia back then, but moved to Etiqa after 1 year.

Thanks for the e-owner-manual link! Was planning to bother my sales agent for that.

So far one week driving the D27A H variant (black colour). Noticed a bit of inconsistency in behaviour regarding the start-stop feature (it will activate well, stopping the engine when car full stop, but sometimes within a few seconds it will start back the engine even though foot not off the accelerator, on first service will question them about it). Otherwise nice a comfortable ride compared to previous Alza. My kids sit on booster seats in mid row, and they like the arm rest (which is basically the whole middle seat back) which allows them to reach/see the last row (or boot, since I typically drive around with rear row down).

engine would restart if the cabin temp is too high
its not inconsistency , its just another trigger condition not being met

No need to be emotional but do be clearer in the 1st place next time as not to give misleading statement to others. All perodua cars before comes with manual and booklet. For the 2nd gen alza, perhaps the owners can assist clarify.

Yes it depend cabin temperature etc. But observe this new Alza eco idle a bit smooth compare to Bezza/Myvi. When engine restart shaking a bit less.

Cash in hand to pay the bills (due mid next month due to statement + 20 days), but for sure any 0% BT available will be taken advantage of for interest earning. But this is OT for this thread la.

Agree that the eco idle feels smooth, as my first time experience its still a bit weird when the engine stop/start (and it is downright annoying when you stop briefly at a junction and want to zoom out after that), but it does seem to start engine quite quickly without any hassle/shaking. For now la, will see how it is in 3-4 months time.
