QMS (Queue management systems).
Inside the app, there are a few service providers. Select Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia

Done mine at UTC last week. No need to wait. Get photo taken on site. Then go to counter and pay. Then wait for 1 hour and go to collect the passport at the collection counter. Veli fast.

Just renewed my passport yesterday at Putrajaya.

Only found out about the online application thingy last week (thank God) - submitted online but have to snap a proper photo outside and upload the digital copy to the website for processing, paid RM200.00 and then waited for 2 days before they emailed me asking me to go and do the biometric verification.

Reached the centre at about 10:00am with about 30 persons in front of me and my turn was called at about 11:15am. Passport was ready for collection at 12:30pm.

Not superbly efficient but to my surprise, all of the officers there was super friendly/helpful.

Nope.

Just print out the payment receipt and also the email notification and go straight to the main counter to get a number.

I never bother to try to apply online.

Straight walked in UTC Shah Alam. No questions asked. Just take queue number and wait.

Refer to #551.

I had similar experience as him.

Arrived at 7am. Counter opened at 8am. 30 ppl in the queue.

By 10am+ it was all done. I did it in Nov last year. Now more ppl know about this place, longer queue but it's alright. They're efficient and friendly.
