Make sure you wear dark clothes.

Know your height. If not, they'll ask you go to a wall nearby to measure sendiri.

For guys who keep long hair, when tie up the bun, make sure the bun not visible on top of your head. If not, they'll ask you to re-tie.

But I couldn't see any such instructions at their office. I walked back and forth, checking whether I queued at the correct lane, finding more info as my son stood in the queuing line.

The queue was rather long as it's a for-all lane. But it moved fast. They even have a few fans along the queue.

When I heard the 2 young men in front of us got their queue number, I was so confident my son could get his.

Yeah, walk- in is for all ages. Just pray you don't have many young families with toddlers or babies in front of you. If all adults, very fast one.

No problem, you can renew as long as your passport is not missing or damage.

Most allow walk in.
Also do download QMS apps ( search playstore QMS Jabatan Imigresen) and check .
As some centers only can book appointment for walk in via QMS.

bring old ic, if u want to change address then u must bring your electric bill/water bill to prove u change address ...

you will take pic there on the spot n they provide coat for u too ...

i am assuming that they might not entertain your request to renew your passport if your validity is greater than 6 months or it still has a lot of empty pages, my "dumb" suggestion, tear a few pages of your passport so that you can have it renewed as you will be denied entry into any country if your passport pages have tears

Recently went to renew my expired passport. Apply online, pay online, morning go UTC for number (have to go early, nearly missed out the limited number they give out that day), and done.

Applied online on 20/2 and now it's 27/2 still permohonan Dalam proses. No email whatsoever. Good job UTC Selangor. Called the phone number listed in Google forever no answer.
