Trying out this giti sport s2 to replace ps4 which has clocked 51k km. Using 45 series instead of stock 40 series for slight comfort. So fast quiet, have not tried corner or wet braking

This giti tyre is good. but dont know why, it is not famous at all here. I want to find replacement for my ps4. had few cycle use ps4.maybe will not go for ps5 as price already inflated kaw kaw. michelin increase any price also still people will buy. but alternative also not much la in uhp category.

usually if it's not famous, it comes down to price reason. Unknown, brand new brand, but putting a premium price, people better buy proven, branded Tyres.
If u really want best price, try whatapps for quotation from Oscar Bukit Kemuning, I find their price is the cheapest among KL/ Selangor/ N9, especially 18" size onwards, Michelin brand

Hello, between Hankook Ventus Prime 4 & Michelin Primacy 5, which one more comfortable and more gooding?.

Size 225/50R17
Price Hankook Prime 4 is RM380
Price Michelin Primacy 5 is RM 550

Currently using Hankook Ventus Prime 3, All I can see, this tyre comfort level is very good. but, only one downside, the tyre is not that silent. everything else, handling, wet, dry, comfort level, braking, all I satisfied. Its like a perfect tyre for my diriving pattern.

Always in my mind want to change into prime 4 until primacy 5 come out. only downside I see about primacy 5 is design is so damn ugly. dont know u all agree or not about this. lol.

Wow..kinda shocking see prime 4 won over primacy 5 in dry braking. while other aspect, I expected already see primacy 5 won. pricing also quite far between these two although they are in the same category.

One things, really accurate is noise. as my current VP3 not that silent, quite noisy and it show in this test, which show VP4 is noisy 2db compare to primacy 5.

Btw, tq for the info. will see more touring tyre in this website.

Anybody know this happen?

Michelin PS3about 4 years with ~50k mileage.

More serious the the front wheels. There is on the rear as wheel. But very minor.

Issue with the tyre(harden) or something wrong with alignment or car?

Normal. It looks like close to time to change the tires.

Reaching 50k km with PS series tires is quite a feat. I've never managed to reach that mileage. Max was 45k km for me with the PS3.

Was driving more aggresive and fast when the car & tyre is new.
But now santai saja... So it is wearing out much slower.

Indeed it is close to the indicator.
Considering to change to a slightly more comfortable tyre like hankook vp4 or maybe cheaper performance tyre like tr1 if it is not foo noisy

Can Google Michelin tyre chipping, many kene the similar issue. Technically as others mention, due to the model use softer compound for better grip, hence after some mileage, hit with this. But ask many honest tyre shop, they all said no issue for the tyre potential to leak etc cz its only the outer surface chipping.

had that on PS3 and PS4. just push it to more mileage b4 change it

XM2+ Michelin is not a performance tyres, and advertised to last longer than rival tyres, shown that it is an eco tyre. Mean definitely not soft compound rubber and sure no tyre chipping problem

Having a porsche macan but looking for options.
Currently on Michelin PS4 SUV

Thinking on
Pirelli cinturato russo
Giti sport
Nexun RU1
Hankook Venus prime 4

Anyone can enlighten me? I do long distance travel. Only go up genting or Cameron once per 6 months. More to traveling on highway alone

Looks like its wheel alignment (Rear ??) is less than desirable IFF within specs....

tight corner. not right (spelling mistake)
alignment std shop one (non specialist sifu).

after research, i list out some effects on stock vehicle after downsize rim & reduce sidewall. since d expert here suka gave boring answer --stick to ori spec--

1. +scrub radius (sometimes beneficial)
2. low speed heavvy. +bump steer
3. +torq steer. +counter force. hard to return center
4. only lower height by few cm. increase roll center, since contact patch nearer to lower arm. less body roll...
