Maxxis I Pro for grip. But mileage will be low.

Vp4 for all rounder performance & comfort. But, overall grip not as good.

Need opinion for my wife car's tyre, been 5years and mileage only 5-6k a year. Can it still last for few months based on the condition?

The timing is really bad, plan to change after CNY if the condition is still usable since it is not the main vehicle to use daily.
Many things to repair and no news on bonus yet, stress....

If you ask michelin, max 10 years. After 5 years, check yearly by professionals/experts.

If you want longevity, just continue either Primacy or UC series. I got 1 salesman friend which always travel between northern to central area and feedback to me the old UC6 tires he manage to hit 100k before change. FYI, he always travel on highways & rotate the tires every 10k.

Just changed my front tires to XM2plus, but the manufacturing week is 14th, which means it is only 6 weeks old.

I heard if tire is too new there will be problem, should I be concerned very much? Should I drive less before the tires 3 months old or I am being paranoid ?

My concern is indeed it being "too new". Some people said new tire takes 3 months to have their rubber and chemical to stabilize, that's why I worried now 

I give you a few examples. Take it with a pinch of salt as I was using VP3. VP4 should have a slight improvement over VP3:
1. Tire spin from stop & go, on wet road.
2. When cornering, even during not so high speed between 60~80 km/h, there were incidences of tailspin (oversteer) on wet roads. If you do high speed cornering, for sure gonna have oversteer.
3. High risk of aquaplaning when drive over puddles.
4. Very noisy tire. Slow or fast. The faster you go, the higher the noise.

One of my cars are still using this tire. 235/50R18. Only 14k km driven with this tire. At the moment, this tire really limits the enjoyment of driving that car. I have to keep using this tire until botak or until I cannot tahan anymore.

Decision is up to you. You can try experience yourself. For me, I will not be not using this tire brand series anymore.

wah hahaha then you must write yearly tire reviews lah..  i jst about to swap my 1st set OE from car purchase.. after 80k km.. 7 years. But i slowpoke driver.

lucky u havent try the Achilles ATR Sport 2. Summary, bassy tyre, noisy, wet the worst grip.

unfortunately last nite I had a tire puncture, so this morning pasang the VP4 already.  going from 45 to 50, cornering feels a bit spongy, esp if do sudden movements. Not liking that. But can adjust driving style, so far no rain yet. Definitely cant spirited drive like before, need to dial down slightly.

road noise, feels like not much improvement over my 7 year old rubbers. 

But new rubbers sure absorb road pimples better.

So after a few days of driving with some wet stints, its obvious going down from 215/45 to 205/50 has a big impact on the limits of cornering and aggressiveness of switching directions. Needed some time to re-wire my brain to the new tires. Slow~ slow~ granted I'm not a performance type or driver, just used to the earlier profile for 7 years so its engrained into the butt dyno. Grip is good enough for my car. Didn't expect much more.

And the noise seem to have gotten less than earlier. As expected, 50's absorbs the road surfaces better. So, so far everything seems to be within expectations.

Hopefully can last at least for the next 5 years.

It is a fact PS4 perform more better, PS5 only good in better tread wear but because of this the traction performance drop.

If you want lower budget tyres go for middle range tyres like Falken FK520, Hankook  Ventus S1 evo 3, Maxxis Victra Sport or Giti Sport S2

How is the noise level and wet braking?

If lets say compared to UC7 (i know is summer tire comparing to UHP tire) how is the noise level? I assume the wet braking shuld be better than UC7 la
