You can get a tv box less than RM200 with twice the amount of RAM during sales season.
Do you know what is the penalty for terminating your 2 years contract should you decide to switch ISP? The remaining months contract will costs you thousands! Just for a RM200 box?

What is a good box under RM200?
Put other issues aside, 800mbps for RM159 is a good deal and most people who got this deal are surely to stay on, unless Time comes to their place.

Not due to Netflix or your home hardware.
It's due to TM's bad management of IP addresses /range which resulted in Netflix servers not recognizing the IP addresses as Malaysia origin.
This same occurrence happened many months back before first with Cloudflare public DNS last time. TM using bogons or what we call illegal IP addresses which they did not announce properly with their ASN causing Cloudflare to resolve TM IP address as US or some other country instead of Malaysia.
When you reset your router, you changed IP address because you relogin The new IP address was then re-recognized as Malaysian based IP and it got you through.
Thank you. Learn something from this explanation.

They still have few other choices. I was just suggesting to the public on how to be a better consumer. Is that wrong?
Not wrong, Just that most of the other choices uses TM's infra and are often subpar in terms of technical support and hard capped speed. Unless your area has other infra from Time or Allo.
But there are still some reason to choose other provider, like better value and pricing especially if combine with certain postpaid plan.
