Mean no more update?

Flip your router upsite down. The version number is there. Else, login to your router management and find the version number there System > Firmware upgrade > Online update.

Update:
Aviod TP-Link and most importantly D-Link. ASUS only worth for Asus-merlin supported routers and not using any Trend Micro features.

What's wrong with the Trend Micro features built into the ASUS router firmware?

*Serious question by the way, not sarcasm

I don't claim or say TM selling our data. But, I prefer to minimize, if not completly stopping (technically not possible unless there are many open-source software available out there) my data being sent to tech companies.

As you were informed:
[1]. D-Link abandons their users without providing any form of firmware upgrades. Huge security risk. You cannot use most of the features as it is considered as out-of-date feature.
[2]. TP-Link selectively provides firmware updates for new revision for no reason.
[3]. ASUS the best due to their track record of providing firmware updates, not good as Asuswrt-Merlin, but compared
to those two above, ASUS is most certainly better. trend Micro is okay for common users. But for people who concern about their data, disabling the features is the right way. But doing so, you don't get best bang for the buck because you cannot use the feature that is associated with TM.

Power users opt for gears like cisco, mikrotik (my favorite thanks to soonwai), and Ubiquiti (edgerouter).

What plan are you subscribed to?
The Unifi Extraordinary plan (100mbps and above) is given Disney+ for free for 6 months, while 24 months if you subscribe to the Ultimate Pack

You could get an Ethernet VOIP Phone
or use a software based VOIP Phone like MicroSIP

Your unifi got public ip or not? (100mbps or below plan does not have public ipv4 ip)

If u are in CGNAT network,ur torrenting speed will be very slow.

Just to update my experience :

TM Unifi 100Mbps. Old plan expired, renew 2 years to same plan (only removed the unused TV package) - RM129 / mth.
Shah Alam, Selangor area.

Suddenly without any change to network equipment, got assigned behind a CGNAT IP (10.x.x.x, Private Shared IP 180.x.x.x).

Now cannot ping own router IP (10.x.x.x or 180.x.x.x) from the web (so any RTSP webcam ports all now koyak).
Web browsing constantly slow or fails to load, plenty of DNS timeouts (already configured Asus AC5x router to use OpenDNS).

Can confirm 2 days ago was still fine on old plan (not on CGNAT). The network change took effect after a router reboot.

Got major downgraded, even though paying the same plan! WTF TM.
Should have asked them for the 300Mbps plan at same price instead.

Beware, Unifi 100Mbps plans and below are now trash (due to slow CGNAT traffic). Get at least 300Mbps or switch to Maxis.

I agree with him. My contract with unifi going to end next January, 2024. I plan to migrate to maxis. Unifi and their stupid pricing plan.

Also, any maxis fibre users can clarify this?

Why renew for two years?
Why not simply continue without contract?

RM129 can get SWU 300mbps. I'm paying RM99 for 100mbps now.

Yes the same plan for 300mbps. Yes initially 6 months but during the call, the girl (TM CS) offered me 24 months of free Disney+ with 6 month for the 1st tranches and another 18 month of another tranches. During my report with live chat also confirmed by them that my package have remark of 24 months free of Disney+.

After 6 month, there is no further subscription and TM side seem like cannot solved this. That's why I'm asking is there anyone have the same case like me.

Just upgraded my plan from 800Mbps to 2Gbps this morning. Screenshot below are tested via 1Gbe LAN connection from my PC to Asus router.
DUAL-WAN enabled but speed < 1.5Gbps via WiFI test.

Perhaps no more update. The latest firmware for V2.6 was last year, if I recall correctly. Want router with constant firmware update, then no doubt Asus is your choice, but price not cheap.

If really for low budget and normal usage, which Asus router is best?

What's worst is you just tigh to a new 2 years contract. I believe they notice your 100mbps still on public IP without any reason, so they decide to put you on CGNAT since that is their "policy" for 100mbps and below. Try call up 100 and request for public IP with 1001 reasons for CCTV, game host etc. Some have manage to get back public IP after TM technician verify their request.
