Careful ya. l8r u get reported. Your post is the one with TM and monkey in the same sentence.

Me, that's the only photo I have of the pole and fibre box. (actually a screen grab of a video I sent to Jabatan Perhilitan)
Those are Dusky Leaf monkeys, btw. They got white Elton John style spectacles.

In all honesty, whether it's this type of mammal or another, my prayers are the same: please don't screw up my internet.
About 3 years ago, my poor neighbour's Unifi was out for 27 days because the cable to her house was pulled out. Though in that case, it wasn't a Dusky Leaf monkey. Apparently there was a mix-up and during an installation, someone disconnected her fibre and used her port for another house.
LoL? How this even happened? Dont tell me that another house installer doesnt check?

therefore newer estate, it is better since everything is underground.

less chances for fibre cable to break etc. also.
Unless someone cut it, or run it over by car. I don think it will break

Fiber cable got amy theft? Saw my taman have Unifi down one day at 10.30pm, next day ramai TM people overseeing the cable hanging above the lorong looks like putus.
I am not expert, but that cable called as fiber optic cable. No copper inside, only optical tube + outer reinforcement shield to protect the optical section. I don think have much value to steal with.
