Mine RM159 - 300mbps + Deco M4

I'm paying RM99 for 100mbps and on 30 days trial for 300mbps. RM159 is a stiff increase. Hence, I will maintain my current speed after trial ended.

mine was during the early day when 30mbps for RM179, then free upgrade to 50mbps, then pay RM10 to increase to 100mbps, then turbo free update to 800mbps, then they suddenly they remove the hypptv package of RM30 from my subscription.

now i think u can only pray for next round of turbo to get at this price....

I think you can only pray for Gobinh Singh to come back to get next round of turbo.

my second term contract is almost end. received a call for 300mpbs (internet only) at RM129 free disney hotstar and change to Wifi 6 router. rejected upfront as I'm using RM 99 for 100mbps package(internet only) which is more than enough. Let see if any miracles happen before Xmas.

Just to update my experience :

TM Unifi 100Mbps. Old plan expired, renew 2 years to same plan (only removed the unused TV package) - RM129 / mth.
Shah Alam, Selangor area.

Suddenly without any change to network equipment, got assigned behind a CGNAT IP (10.x.x.x, Private Shared IP 180.x.x.x).

Now cannot ping own router IP (10.x.x.x or 180.x.x.x) from the web (so any RTSP webcam ports all now koyak).
Web browsing constantly slow or fails to load, plenty of DNS timeouts (already configured Asus AC5x router to use OpenDNS).

Can confirm 2 days ago was still fine on old plan (not on CGNAT). The network change took effect after a router reboot.

Got major downgraded, even though paying the same plan! WTF TM.
Should have asked them for the 300Mbps plan at same price instead.

Beware, Unifi 100Mbps plans and below are now trash (due to slow CGNAT traffic). Get at least 300Mbps or switch to Maxis.

RM129 can get SWU 300mbps. I'm paying RM99 for 100mbps now.

TM says actively engaging access seekers for wholesale internet pricing agreement
By Anas Abu Hassan / Bernama
03 Aug 2023, 11:27 am

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 3): Telekom Malaysia Bhd ™ says it is in active engagement with access seekers to reach an agreement, following the release of its new reference access offer (RAO), which outlines the wholesale pricing of its high-speed broadband (HSBB) network.

The telecommunication company said the adoption of the Mandatory Standard on Access Pricing (MSAP) for the wholesale rate, expected to begin this September, will encourage service providers to offer better internet packages.

“Upon TM’s announcement of the improved RAO wholesale broadband rates on July 28, we have been engaging access seekers to reach an agreement that meets their needs.

“Given the positive improvement on the new wholesale rate, we are hopeful that this will encourage access seekers to offer better internet packages in the market, as stated by Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil,” TM told Bernama.

TM said the agreement with internet service providers and other parties looking to subscribe to TM’s RAO for wholesale pricing will subsequently benefit their retail end-users.

“As of now, details on the offerings are a bit premature for us to reveal and will be announced in due course,” it added.

On Monday (July 31), Fahmi reaffirmed that internet prices are expected to be cheaper when the MSAP is adopted, which would lead to a reduction in internet wholesale prices and cheaper packages.

He also noted that a new policy of “where there is a road, there will be internet” will be introduced to ensure that people will have wider internet access.

On July 11, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), the regulatory body that issued the MSAP, said a cut in retail prices for fixed broadband services based on the MSAP could only be implemented after the access agreement has been signed among service providers.
