Hello, today I applied to maxis for the first time from unifi

But the guy called me and said my address is not serviceable because it has a transfer request already

Anybody know what this means ?

How do I fix this ?

You are using Unifi and want to apply for Maxis fibre? Can you tell us the steps you took to apply?

The proper way should be you register for Maxis fibre with Maxis center or agent, informing them you are switching from Unifi. After that get the transfer ID, bring to a proper Tmpoint and do thumbprint. Pay your Unifi bill 1 month in advance to ensure no outstanding, and then wait for TM to approve the transfer within 10 days.
Maxis will contact you for installation once TM approve the transfer request.
You cannot have 2 providers running at the same address, hence you must go for the transfer process.

Hello thank you for your reply. Yes I did do it with a maxis agent. During the process of getting me the transfer id, it somehow shows in the system that I have made a request before and my connection is “not serviceable”

Don’t know what to do now

The agent said will try and check with TM

You can try call TM and ask them to cancel the existing transfer. Or wait for 2 weeks usually the transfer ID will lapse because you do not visit Tmpoint to confirm it.

Hi just want to check, i just upgraded to 500mb plan,

unfi gave me these mesh wifi routers.

can i know if i can configure these mesh device to totally wireless mesh?

i.e. from my existing wifi-> mesh conencts to my wifi -> rebroadcast ssid/mesh between the 2 device?

or must plug lan cable into 1 of the device to use the mesh system?

thanks.

the mesh system they gave is the fiberhome mesh router.

Is your existing wifi router is also a FibreHome?
Should be able to just wirelessly link them all together, not sure on the exact specific steps

Normally with a separate mesh system you would not want your mesh to connect to your existing wifi, but completely replace it

oh no, i dont want my mesh to replace my wifi network as i already have 4 AP's peppered around the house, but i intend to use this mesh to cover the blind spot.

the mesh there is no way it can replace my wifi as the coverage is too big for 1 device.

my existing wifi router is not a fiberhome, its my own device.

right now my setup is

FTTH unifi modem-> own router dailing out PPOE -> switch -> APs and other devices.

i want to extend coverage from the AP as certain spots at my hse (downstairs some room) is not having good signals from my AP's (which is upstairs on my roof, im using a few Ubiquity ACLR's currently)

if the fiberhome routers can only connect between their devices, then i wont be able to get them to connect to my exisiting AP for wifi-relay right?

I think only way is you wire it to one of your switch.

Probably, you can try check with them again after 14 days.

You have to try at another Tmpoint or try with other staff. Package like this are often not given to all, because it is a last attempt to protect their business by preventing customer switching to competing providers. It is all base on your luck if Tmpoint staff want to give you or not.

If you do not have any contacts lock with unifi, you can try apply port out to digi or maxis
I find Digi convenience applying thru online.
The rest ….

ur contract period already over or not? If over contract period can go to tm point try to apply 300mbps rm129 SWU basic , if the TM staff not allow to proceed your request tehn have to apply another telco (EG:maxis , celcom & digi fiber plan)to get the transfer code then they will proceed offer the SWU package for you
