Already stated very clearly in their FAQ πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

KDI Save to reflect the funds from the daily cut-off time of 11 am every working day.

For KDI Invest it will take between 4 to 5 working days and kindly note that the daily cut-off time is 8 am every working day.

For offline deposits, it will take up to 3 to 4 working days for KDI Save to reflect the funds deposited from the daily cut-off time of 11 am every working day.

For KDI Invest it will be between 6 to 7 working days from the daily cut-off time which would be 8 am every working day.

Totally forget that 1st Feb 2023 is a public holiday... deposit was not reflected for yesterday deposit... (is my mistake anyway, just a friendly reminder to all that make sure not to deposit on a federal public holiday... )

any financial dealings, always observe KL Public Holidays

this is critical when we need to withdraw kdi fund for specific time-sensitive purposes (eg pay bill, rentals. fees etc)

Good to know this.

I wanted to ask yesterday but since Bursa was not operating, i was guessing kdi is probably on holiday as well.

I thought kdi is automated and should allow deposits and withdrawals (e-fd can withdraw/deposit any day of the week) regardless of the day since the marketing by kdi implies it is operated by AI (shouldn't need human intervention).

any banking follow's BNM calendar which is in KL territory smile.gif

KDI allow withdrawal, it's automated at KDI side (front-end app to backend system) --- no actual money movement, just data change.

later, KDI finance operation will still need to trigger fund transfer which will eventually hit the (external) banking network, and will still need to observe their operating time too.

Not a Federal public holiday but a territory holiday πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

In future follow Bursa holidays for reference

The so called AI function is only for invest which is why marketing smart in mislead

You can’t compare E-FD with Treasury as the liquidity works differently because treasury has some MMF with short term bonds in it πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Ppl who put into KDI are for liquidity not for returns πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Anyway minisicule level returns when you are talking 50bp unless it is 100k or more then you will see the difference

No point offering those returns as when you want to really use it the whole entire system down like last week πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Don't feel safe money in TNG....lots of apps use TNG auto debit here and there. You might not be aware of it.
