hm.. creatine.. i got creatine monohydrate also but the gym trainer said don't need to load.. i read somewhere before or someone told me.. i forgot which about what free_enuf said about the lagging behind thing is true.. it takes a slower time to get to the optimum effect but i'm jus taking it 1 serving before workout (no load) on workout days.. which means 3 times a week.. (no load) is that enough? it's not even 1 day's loading phase which requires 4 servings (as stated on the creatine bottle) so i would need to take 6 weeks to reach that 5 days loading and then 2 weeks later i hav to cycle off? hmm.. anyone enlighten pls?

QUOTE(CandleJack @ Feb 22 2008, 09:33 AM) IMHO, creatine for preWO does nothing. This is bcos what we need during workout is creatine that is already in our system, hence the loading phase. But that's just what i read, i'm not even on that stuff yet. So correct me if i'm wrong. creatine pre workout is better. creatine takes approx 1 hour to masuk ur blood system, so taking it 30 minutes before workout, then by half way of your workout where your ATP are almost used up, it can replenish and improving workout efficiency

I highly doubt you can't find supplements over there or the specific ones. Given that even 7 elevens over there stocks several brand of protein drinks, wheatbix drinks and a lot more health drinks compared to Malaysia. If you are in Melbourne just take a stroll down town, there are almost as many supplements stores as there are convenience stores. Cheers

Creatine plus acidic juices is a big no no! You might as well drink plain water than combining creat and orange juice. Google why.
