QUOTE(Sotongg @ Jun 15 2023, 02:47 PM) ehh, can get 400mbps at 4G? the most I could get in M is 250mbps peak only Technically it is possible with 4CA 4G+ on the right place and conditions. This is tested with 4 band CA on Digi (900+1800+2100+2600) - the network isn't merged yet. I can sometimes get it faster (this is around 300+ Mbps). Of course 5G is usually faster.

Combining both digi and celcom spectrum... These kind of speed will be slowed down once 2nd 5G network appeared as giving all 4g spectrum to 5g... Then 4g users will complain 4g slow liao...

Your phone must fall back to telco other freq band for the phone call. BTW, there is an announcement for an announcement. https://www.orientaldaily.com.my/news/natio...23/06/20/574219

For Genting, both Maxis and Digi are very slow. most stable (slow) has good indoor coverage enough for Whatsapp but not YouTube 1080p :-) Genting has partial 5G coverage but not at GPO or cable car there... it's another side like Bukit Tinggi there.. One Bar of 5G signal with speed around 300Mbps... This post has been edited by mlamlam: Jun 20 2023, 11:42 PM

QUOTE(mlamlam @ Jun 20 2023, 11:42 PM) most stable (slow) has good indoor coverage enough for Whatsapp but not YouTube 1080p :-) Not necessarily so. There are times that Maxis speed test result is lower than that of Digi but somehow Maxis was able to load pages and videos faster. My friend and I noticed similar scenario with telcos in Thailand too ! A friend working in Bangkok noted that even though heโs only on unlimited 15Mbps prepaid in Thailand, for some reason AIS Thailand 15Mbps always works faster and more stable than any of our telcos in Malaysia. I already noticed this last time when I used DTAC 3G. It was 3G only but it was faster than our 4G in Malaysia (talking about real user experience, not speed test result).
