it is very obvious iphone and samsung not passed malaysia 5g network now.
But why not pass, duno is too strict or DNB 5g got issue (stability or?)
but of coz, apple nvr certified YES network... so never expect iphone users can use 5g if big 4 dun have 5g LOLX

Ooo. I found that my mate 20 keep attempt DNB 4g (anchoring to 5G NSA)
Hence it ping ponging between yes 4g and dnb 4g

Then i have to wait my phone liao

Too bad the 5g is not consistent
And always use 700mhz (20mhz) compared to 5g frequency (200mhz) caused the speed below 100mbps

I believe it is just renewal of 2600mhz spectrum which expired at December 2019.
Of coz the usage will be remained as 4G since there is no green light from gov


Reassigning 2600MHz to spectrum assignment. The 2600MHz spectrum allocation for 4G deployment, which had expired in December last year, was extended to December 2019. Currently, Maxis, Celcom and Digi, which were earlier awarded blocks of 2 x 10MHz, are operating 2 x 20MHz bands. This is because Maxis has a spectrum sharing arrangement with REDtone, and Celcom and Digi with Altel.

It is same as volte features previously.
If the phone manufacturer dun wan to enable, u have no way to use 5g on ur 5g phone.
Just dun keep blame on operator for not supporting volte or 5g.

We all know DNB 5g coverage are bad, but who ask them to build the site same location with other telco ? Current operator using 2600mhz/1800mhz/2100mhz/900mhz while 5g is 3500mhz.
DNB need double or more the sites to seamless cover the area.

Hence, all operator should gabung the cost to fastern the coverage instead of finding opportunity to set up 2nd 5G network, it is just waste of time.

Have u disable 5g at ur 2nd sim?
I set network type prefer 5g for both sim caused both sim disconnected to network frequently.
After set my 2nd sim as prefer 4g, the dc seems reduced much

5G is expanding into Penang, Ipoh, JB, and Klang Valley ( Rawang, Sepang Gold Coast, Klang, Puchong, PJ)
But JB/ Rawang/klang/PJ have more trial sites to be commercial

I mean, if digi down for 3 days, ppl will instantly move to other telco?
