5G has landed in Ipoh town. My friend already test it

Actually 5G trial for Celcom already in the progress since last 2 weeks. They do the trial to all Celcom staff first who are eligible (With 5G Android smartphone and in 5G coverage area) and now they do the trial to selected Celcom postpaid customer. If all have success, they will launch to public by this month or early next month.

Hope they can announce sooner when to launch the 5G in this month

I just can't wait for other Telcos apart from YES to be in 5G service. It's too long already.

Someone has posted in FB claimed that his friend manage to get Umobile 5G already

Like I said, if he tipu me.. then I tipu you all la. Don’t take it so serious as I asked him spontaniously about when the lanching date, and as C staff there.. he said like that to me. It’s rumors after all, anything can happen.

Adding more, today suddenly Parliament dissolved which 5G was controlled by the Government. So.. goodbye 5G Malaysia. Delayed again till next year I guess.

Correct. This also happen to 4G launching previously. It took several weeks for Apple to push carrier update after Telco launching their 4G network.
Apple users have to wait for abit lor.
