Actually I also bought the free yes sim to test. Was shocked when then speeds so much worst than DIGI. I assumed because so few subscribers it’ll be faster. Was wrong.

using NS 5G, battery life still great, no difference to 4G but have not used SA 5G so can't compare yet.

Signal always full bar, don't know what you mean by huawei being the best lmao

I'm in newcastle, no underground here haha.

In the UK generally indoor coverage has been really bad, I dont know why.

Even compared to Malaysia it is worse lol. I've never been to a mall in KL with zero coverage from all networks, but here so many places got zero signal from all networks (cant even make emergency call).

Go below ground even worse lol

I think regulation too strict about tower placement, and too much emphasis on wifi calling, which wont work unless you know the wifi password haha.

As for 5G, because it is NS, coverage basically follows the same as 4G.

I was shocked because malaysia I can get away with single sim, or maybe sometime when going jungle area will buy second sim from 7-11, but here you need to have network from all 4 telcos because signal so bad and not consistent.

thank god my umobile backup free roaming can roam on 3 networks, and my main line is the supposed best network in the uk (ee)

been a long time haha, i stopped using huawei when google store got removed, but i'll take your word for it, because huawei makes the cell sites too, so i am guessing they know how to configure their phones to maximise coverage

You can use 5G on.

I’m in the UK, been using 5G on since September, no difference to battery life because we using non standalone 5G here

I think it’s the same in Malaysia ?

But your speeds seems better than mine currently lmao can’t wait to come home and try too

7:00 PM: Saya call Celcom Careline sekali lagi - diberi nasihat suruh kembali ke Celcom Dealer DPulze dan tukar simcard, berkemungkinan sim card rosak.
7:45 PM: Sampai di Dealer Celcom DPulze, minta tukar simcard, diberitahu akan kena charge RM5, saya tak puas hati cakap bukan masalah saya tapi saya proceed juga sebab ikut nasihat Celcom Careline tadi. Dah tukar simcard baru, masih sama, tiada 5G samada di S22 Ultra atau iPhone 13 Pro Max saya.
8:15 PM: di tingkat paling bawah DPulze Cyberjaya ada Dealer U Mobile, saya tekad beli U Mobile Postpaid RM98 on the spot, bayar RM108 upfront. Settle activate semua, masukkan simcard U Mobile dalam iPhone saya, taraaa terus dapat 5G tanpa perlu tukar setting sana sini.
8:35 PM: Naik semula ke Celcom Dealer tingkat UG di DPulze, terus tunjuk iPhone saya yang ada signal 5G U Mobile yang hanya baru dibeli dalam 30 minit tadi. Saya minta terminate Celcom saya dan refund duit saya RM128. Diberitahu kena walk-in Celcom Center, dealer tak boleh buat.
9:00 PM - 10:30 PM: Dalam talian dengan Celcom Careline 1111, buat escalation call bercakap dengan manager Fida, saya demand Fida / Celcom terus terminate Celcom saya on the spot tanpa perlu ke Celcom Center kerana Celcom breach of contract - I obtained the Celcom RM128 package in good faith in return of Celcom providing me with 5G connection which Celcom fails to honor to me despite of me having 2 different phones that support 5G

Everyone is outsourced, nobody knows anything, nobody has access to fix anything

So far maxis DiGi customer service is the best

Umobile I haven’t tried so far. Using it 3 months already but overseas

I feel bad for those Celcom users in Malaysia can’t get 5G on supported plans.

I updated my iPhone yesterday, and I think umobile forgot to disable 5G roaming and so I am getting 5G data roaming here in the uk on my free roaming 15gb second sim

Last week i downloaded iOS 17 7gb update took less than 10 minutes on umobile dnb 5G

Most probably your network provider core network to Samsung servers congested

Or Samsung servers itself
