Cute leh, but is it someone cut the ears ??
dai86 last time i use that coconut for my Ah Pit, but after long time ( althought wash 2 time every week ) will smilly, so what i do is i use DIY ( actually is my mum help me do ), just use those water tank ball ( that round & Black plastic ball for control water tank) just cut a hole and make the cutting area smooth with sand paper then will be a nice sleeping place already.

crazymouse, nope. no one cut her ears. she small time when i get her, the ear normal one, but dunno why when she grow bigger and bigger it be round.... .sweat. u see her picture when she small time about 1 month plus i get her, the ear already turn into short and round. people who saw her said she very tame and 'listen to what the owner say', thats y ear turn into this look. haha.... (funny right?)

vincent, mine no smelly, cause they will not pee and poo in the coconut house oh. they mostly will came out to pee and poo. if smelly, i spray those odor killer to the hole loh. haha... but now they like the plastic house more than the coconut house. if they make the plastic house dirty with food, only they shift to coconut house.

hackerzx, mine don't like cut'ed apple and other fruit + vegetable. last time i use to cut it. but they won't eat it. haha.... (maybe they tot small piece no nice, big piece is tastier. haha.....)

I think the ears growth is deformed or something.... coz that really is not normal. I can see some white lining. Sometimes gliders can get short ears when the ears are either chewed off or burnt off...... the ear membrane is suppose to be very thin, never thick or rubbery.... it is more like soft skin. So if the ear membrane is thick, could be the ears stunted growth, cannot grow in length so it grows in thickness I suppose.... but over all you glider quite cute lah, just weird with ears like that. You Google, you won't find normal gliders with that kinda ears coz in the wild, being nocturnal, they need longer ears to listen to danger and night sounds.

Food is best chopped into sizes where you glider can hold in their paw..... for me, big pieces do not make my glider finish their food. They will chew what they want, then leave the rest. If I cut into small pieces that they can hold with 1 hand like holding a mealworm, then they will finish all their fruits. That's why now I got no problem feeding any fruit or vegie to my gliders.... but last time got, they won't touch alot of fruits.....

Oh i see, maybe try cut those fruits see is it Ah Pit like it or not. biggrin.gif
Nowadays see Ah Pit eat those mealworm quite funny, got 1 time Ah Pit eat the mealworm start from back, then the mealworm holding Ah Pit nose and Ah Pit start pulling it. biggrin.gif
After that, Ah Pit will direct bite their head first ..... biggrin.gif

If he's eating while away in your hometown, that's good.

Mine would eat less if bring him back my hometown, he knows a different place, so he has less "selera"...

My hometown also was quite hot that time, pity him, I leave the fan on for him in the room tongue.gif

The smell could be the heat or that he's growing tongue.gif

Haha.

My glider used to sleep with all four feet spread up in the air cuz it was too hot.

And he even slept like dead sweat.gif

That's why even without anyone in the room, he gets the fan all to himself wink.gif

depend on place, some selling rm380, some reached rm480.

hehe.... i think her ear grow short is good for me too. since she is 'special', then when some other people steal her i can recognise her! haha.... mmm... althru she got a short ear, but i don't think it effect her hearing. cause everytime i just need to open my door, and she already looking at me. haha.... and i think because of the ears grow short, it make her nose grow better. she will came out from her house everytime when i holding food to feed them (never reach she already out), and she also can smell food althru a bread, when i eat not far from her (about hand length). haha........

Tofu is not good for them.

A few US breeders has actually tried them and later on found some article regarding tofu which made them stop including tofu in their diet.

Coz melon got alot of water. Fruits mainly got lots of water. Mine pee alot also till now have to buy those super absorbing bedding for them hahaha.

Yups, Tofu is a no for gliders. Alot of foods gliders should not eat, best is feed them natural stuff like fruits, preservative free food and no added sugar foods.
