Anything can attract suger glider for call them back? Food, fruits like no work.

Like Hun said, if your glider is bonded to you, they will come back to you once they are done playing or exploring.

Sometimes when thay are still exploring, they will not want to come back yet.

That's my glider's case, he'll come back once he's done playing and exploring.

Oh yea about juice for sugar glider, if i use those apple make juice and give Ah Pit drink is it ok? Or outside got sell those non sugar juice??

no.. they like dog food very much...
i dun means tat givin them dog food as main food...
but u hav 2...choose the dog food tat hav high clusium...
n dog food can help them to gesek their teeth...

main food is fruit...mealworm...n etc...
dun miss understanding...

It's not that they like dog food, but they will mainly eat whatever you as owner give them.

Although they eat it, they do not know the nutritional value of the food or if it can cause harm to them. Only the owner with brains can tell. So despite knowing that dog foods are not good for them, yet you still give it, shows how much you really care towards your glider - NIL.

For calcium, don't rely on dog/cat food, the calcium content is too little to compare to actual calcium supplement. As good owners, we get them actual calcium supplement, NOT dog food.

Who the heck told you gliders need to "gesek" their teeth? They are not even close to hamster or gerbil family! If they so need to "gesek" their teeth, why would they get "lumpy jaw" condition if they eat too much hard food?? And please tell me you know what is "lumpy jaw" condition...

Yeah, whatever lah you wanna give them honey as snacks, as long as it is not raw honey and not too much of it. It can cause diarrhea to a glider, plus honey is a heaty substance, even more heaty than durian. Try consuming a lot of honey yourself and see what happens...

Seems like your glider is a crawler type then.

Your glider is not fully bonded, you wanna let it go outdoors? Nanti she lari, gone case...

We let our gliders explore mostly in our house, when outdoors we just let them out for a while and with close supervision.

As long not a dog kacau then ok lah. But you must make sure your room or area is glider safe. Means no windows open, no electric cable that can be easily chewed, no holes and places to hide that you cannot reach. I normally let my gliders roam my room. Once they finish exploring, they will either go back to their cage or pouch to sleep or come and climb on me.

Ehh, already told you before right about honey is heaty... Remember when we were discussing about the diarrhea?

Furthermore, people say, if you eat honey, then you eat watermelon, it can cause death... Why? Because honey is heaty and the watermelon is cooling, it can some sort create sudden death... I don't really believe that 100%, but I can't find anyone who'd wanna try that tongue.gif

I think when you sick, you drink honey, it's not about the cooling but the heat that will help reduce the fever... Like when you're sick, you need to keep warm right? Not being blasted in an air conditioned room tongue.gif

Hoho , just now my gf think 1 way can safety let Ah Pit explore outside, I just use 1 big box, those electric product packaging box, inside there put some toy that can let Ah Pit hanging or climb up. So i just put Ah Pit inside there and she enjoy her fun place. She more active when just let her out and jump around in living room, after she in the box there ( the box upside is empty ) she just search around, move around, climb those toy ( a plastic small chair ), jump in her sleeping place, come out again and move around.
Some more i use mini remove control car chase her or she chase the car also biggrin.gif. After that i act like tree, but putting my hand inside and she climb on my hand move over my head and got to another hand and jump in the box again ... biggrin.gif fun.

about sick keeping warm is because by keeping warm, our body system will function as normal, body system need a degree of heat to function, if too cold or too hot it will infected our body system (those hormone etc).
and honey i think one is cause the heating element, another is that honey have healing and killing bacteria functioning. hehe.. (ooopp... i be teacher too much di. haha... by the way, i am a part time teacher. haha...)

the bowl, not really a bowl lah... how to say leh??? the open place is just a big as five cents, and the water bottle is flowing down to the small open place, they only can lick the water, can't play with it. i post a pic next time. hehe... i using it cause last time my slimmy don't like to drink from the normal bottle, maybe he lazy... sweat.gif sweat... then i found out he like to lick the water on my finger (mostly when handling them, i will wash their food bowl etc and finger is wet) then i starting put 'real' water bowl, and as what discuss earlier, they get wet playing with the water, then i found that 'bottle + bowl'. haha.... quite usefull lah. cause i am using some mineral for small mammal which need to add into water, so i will put it with that 'bowl bottle', then will put nomal water in the normal bottle. tongue.gif
and ya, another thing i wanna ask... u guys glider's ear is like elf one right? pointed end... why my fatty is round? haha.......
