i went to service my car last friday noon at umw. surprisingly they give me free oil filter, 2 kfc meal voucher & rm5 discount. i think i service during the so call happy hour (mon-fri 9am-5pm) that's why so many freebies. btw, i service using fully syn. can feel the engine is smoother.

First I encounter the noise is when I stop my car... make any left or right turn... then accelerate... it will appear a "tak tak" noise... very annoying when parking or come out from parking. Went Banting service center twice but cant fix. Afterward go to PJ service center... the problem fix but have to leave ur car there for one full day.

After 2 weeks driving... now another problem came. When u stop in gear D condition... release the brake n then step on the brake... it will make the noise "keng.... keng..." I know there is a noise when u brake... but tis noise sound abnormal... Anyone experienced tis prob b4?

vios j manual. there's a soft tok-tok noise when i brake during low speed with free gear. the noise doesn't appear all the time. another noise come when i turn left n steering about 80% left. there's a swift noise n disappear fast. when going through uneven road, there's some strange knocking noise that doesn't appear all the time. hvnt treat any1 of the problem yet. going to service center this wednesday.

Anyone know when the trd version vios and trd accesories will launch?

TRD with the two tone one ah? Geli like mad. The TRD red/white with recardo seat i heard scrap off the idea liau cause too expensive.

Only today I realised I have the same problem. When turn my steering right side about 80%.. I can hear some noise coming from below my legs.. I can feel it's vibrating.
Turn left is okay it seems.

Erm, seems like this is a common problem. If anyone of you know the problem, kinda share with us.
The next time bring to service centre, will ask them check also.

I thought I hit something below, till it has this sound, scare me.

now the vios s spec's skirt is it TRD skirt?
or only normal skirt?

The "S" spec is using normal skirt. Only the TRD version type "S" will be using full TRD bodykit.

anyone has this problem whereby the front suspension (in mycase the right side) has a "tuk" sound when i go over a sudden uneven part of the road..
not sure whether i caused the problem last time when i zoomed pass a relatively high bump....

this problem doesnt occur when the car passes normal bump on relatively normal speed or even slow speed...

fixed my problem last week. the brake noise is said to b "normal". SA said it's coz of the brake pump. but it seems wasn't there when i first got the car. the strange noise when turning left has been fixed. SA told me they adjusted the absorbers. the turn left n right noise seems be a very common problem.

I went to the showroom yesterday and Toyota is offering 2.38% for loans up to 7 years. But I don't get any discounts.

Anyone here is kind to share which SA/dealer gives the best deal?

Current promotion is either one year free insurance premium or interest rate at 2.38%. If you purchase 1 or 2 weeks earlier, you should get either rebate for insurance premium of RM2,000 or interest rate from 1.68% to 1.88%.

i would suggest that you go and ask a few SA. last month, i asked a few and some said 1.78% no disc, some 1.78% 500 disc and i managed to get 1.5K with 1.78%..some forummers even got 1.7K disc for that low interest..Happy hunting

i feel vios steering is very light...
when i corner especially on high speed corner... i feel like floating...
if i add front strut bar... will it be useful?
for Ultra racing bars... they have only 2 points or got 4 points as well?
