the cash discount is not black and white stated in the promotion package. Whatever advertised is the Standard package. But some SA will give extra cash discount on top of that to secure sales.

haha. If giving more discount will make toyota gone bankrupt, Toyota would have been bankrupt by now.  shakehead.gif

But I think Toyota SA would want more customers like you.  hmm.gif  rclxms.gif

then i wish u happy hunting for the best discount la.. tongue.gif

after 7 years of driving, i rarely use fog light and i don't understand why i need fog light other than cosmetic purpose.

i kinda hope it will help me hunt down pot holes.. kidding
anyway, i felt when i do a left or right turn at kinda dark areas, it's hard to c the road border. as in when i turn, i worry there's just something waiting to pick up my front or rear wheel. though it could b useful in rainy seasons.

In certain conditions, we really need to use the foglamp, sometimes the road up to genting will be really misty till you cant see. But some ppl, they fit their foglamp with HID, which makes the foglamp useless. Those rally foglamp with yellow bulbs, those will be really effective.

The sound from both of my front seat belts is getting worst. I have to wiggle the seat belt holder every few minutes to get rid of those "cheapish" creaking sound.

Next service, I'll really push the SC to get it fixed. I've had enough of it.

Just back from PG, this time I could clock 18.6km/L on light load (2 human + very little luggage), and 15.8km/L on super heavy load (full 5 human + trunk super tighly pack).

Avg speed is 110km/h with occasion 120~130km/h.

p/s: I'm now on 39k mileage. Going for 40k service this Sat.

For Toyota Premium Mineral and Synthetic Formulation, it is SL/CF and for Toyota Full Synthetic oil, it is SM/CL.

For details explanation for Engine oil, please refer this Bible.

By the way, can we bring third party engine oil to Toyota and ask them to change to third party engine oil during services? I plan to change to Mobil 1 0W-40 in future service. biggrin.gif

Really like the Red Vios..looks nice without the additional cross bar in the center

Unbelievable supposed to get my Vios G last Wednesday but thanks to JPJ for screwing up my application next week also dunno can get it or not. The problem according to sales person is that he already documents to JPJ but then data got corrupted now data is already in the JPJ database but has to be deleted, and dunno how long the IT guys will take to remove the record and then the JPJ people process my application again. Oh well i have to be patient......

Guys, u know where can i get the licence plate chrome bar found on the G and S specs vios? i want to put it on my J spec vios.

and also, do u guys know of any way to improve the look of the dashboard? i can't stand the cheapo plastic material of the dashboard, its killing me, anyway to turn it into "soft-touch-plastic" or maybe polish it to make it look better? urgh... mad.gif

Other than custom make your entire dashboard and it's quite a sum to pay, there isn't any other way wink.gif
Or get some workshop to wrap it in designer wallpaper thingy wink.gif It improves the outlook but it's still the same cheapo plastic material underneath.

Haha... I also feel the Vios plastic is not as good as the old version Vios. By the way do u notice it is very noisy while driving? Bcoz I drive the Year 2006 Vios and Year 2008 Vios on the same road I can feel that the wind noise is louder for New Vios. Bcoz of this noise I purposely change my rims n tyres and it just get slightly better. How can I improve the silence in my car? Really annoying of tat noise.
